Character Tuck-in Service on Magic?

What is this I hear about the Disney character tuck-in service on the Magic? Can you really have a Disney character come by your stateroom and tuck in your child each night...and if so, can you request a particular Disney character?

Please let me know!!

This is not a service that they perform on the Magic.

I do know that in the kids club they have a PJ party with Goofy and some characters do come to the club at various times.

Wouldn't it be great if Disney started this, even for an extra cost? They could take ressies for each night and charge to have the characters come and tuck your children in with a special gift!

Thanks for clearing that up for me. We didn't have 'tuck-in' service on our Wonder cruise last year and I was afraid we were missing out on something really special.

...and I agree, I think it would be nice if they offered such a thing. I would even be willing to pay a small fee for it!

You're probably hearing about an extra cost service that was offered by the now-defunct Premier Cruise Line ("The Big Red Boat").

Back when Premier was the "Official Cruise Line of Walt Disney World," parents could arrange to have Disney characters tuck in their children at evening bedtime. When the agreement with Disney ended, Premier had Warner Bros. "Looney Tunes" characters instead.

Before going out of business, Premier offered tuck-ins by their own characters, including a "dolphin, seal, clam and fuzzy wuzzy bear," for $15 per child, according to the CruiseMates Premier Cruise Lines Review.

I must be living my second childhood because I think it would be totally cool for ME to be tucked in!

As for being tucked in by a Clam...well, no wonder they aren't around anymore.

Ya'll are right...this would be so cool...

But...can you imagine....the logistics of this..how many characters and how long it would take to get every child tucked in the for the night..even if you only did x amount per night..everyone would want the same character at the same time on the same night...that's only human nature.

Even if there were a charge..it would still be a logistics nightmare.

I was thinking the same thing. I also have visions of the characters getting swamped by children as soon as they make an appearance on the floors where the staterooms are. Every tuck-in would end up being late....
