I thought it would be fun to get matching t-shirts for our family to wear at least one day while we're at Disney; not sure if DH will go for it, but where can I find them at a reasonable price? I thought I might look at the Disney Store, maybe in the fall, when they are putting out the winter stuff, would they be on sale then? I also thought about maybe getting some just for the boys instead of DH and I too, what do you think? Dumb idea????

Thanks, Steph

I think it's a great idea, especially looks nice in those pictures they take at the park entrances. I looked at the personalized ones on disneystore.com but they're very expensive (sweatshirts especially!). Sometimes they offer a discount for a certain amount so I'll wait for a bit - we're going for Christmas. My dh, too, isn't keen on the idea but he'll do it just at Disney. He probably won't ever wear the tee or sweatshirt again though!

Two weeks ago the local Disney Store had Adult T-Shirts on sale for $12.99 and they were also buy 2 get 1 free. Someone also posted that they saw $4.99 shirts at their Disney Store.

Disney Deals on ebay is also an option for cheap stuff. You can usually get shirts for $4.99 there.

We try to check out the Disney outlet stores in Orlando. Some great deals on shirts here. Last trip I got a pink Daisy Duck angel shirt that said "Good Girl", hubby got the Donald Duck devil "Bad Boy" shirt. We had a ball wearing these and had lots of interaction from the CM because of the shirts.

We've also worn the true matchy-matchy shirts and they are fun too. Also helps to keep up with someone.

I just ordered blank T-shirts from a tshirtwholers and we are going to put something (yet to be decided) on them. We have 4 adults and 4 children and wanted a "family vacation" shirt. It should be fun to make and fun to wear. The T-shirt were less than $5 apiece after shipping.

I may try to do a DIY t-shirt for my family for our upcoming May trip. I'm looking for some Disney clipart to use with t-shirt transfers.

When I was online looking at office supplies the other day, I saw for $9.99 a package of (I think) 10 t-shirt transfers and Disney clip art CD-Rom for making personalized T-shirts. Unfortunately, I can't remember if it was Best Buys, Office Depot, or Office Max, but a quick search should locate it. Then you could just buy inexpensive plain t-shirts & make your own.

On the other side of the coin, I don't have an inkjet printer & couldn't use the transfers anyway, but I *did* just receive my order of personalized shirts from the Disney store. I think I paid $16.99 for the adult ones and $14.99 for the kid ones. They came out really nice, so I'm glad I ordered them. One thing to be aware of, though -- the shirts are 100% cotton on the *inside*, but they're coated with 100% polyester on the *outside*. Great for easy stain clean-up, but not as breathable as purely 100% cotton.
