I am checking in- I have ideas for my groups but I haven't actually done anything- swaps are my focus after Saturday.

Sorry!!! Late to the party...

I have all ideas sketched, supplies purchased and almost everything cut. I will be finishing the cutting process today and tomorrow. Then, off to the beach for the weekend. Ill have lots of time at night to work on assembling!!

Working today. The 2nd Rosetta element is giving me fits. The Tinker Bell cart does not cut well Again, I tried to cut and just got paper splinters. These images need to be cut so huge, they are not very useable.

I also have my Lotso elements cut. I finished up Stitch last night.

I still have my villains letter to do.

I have this cart and have never used it because I'm scared of it! How big do you have to make the fairies to have them actually cut?

I cut the standing Rosetta at 6 or 6 1/4 and it was fine to put together. It looks nice next to a 4x6 photo. I cut the fancy Rosetta title piece at 3 1/4 I think. I cut out all of the pieces and did the "Rosetta" part last -- it was literally slivers of paper. THe piece stretched across the page and certainly looked large enough. I'm not sure how much larger you could make it. I was very upset about all of the time I wasted on it as well as the paper and mat/blade useage.

Then today I cut the flower on page 56 at 3 inches - -the yellow layer was slivers again. 3 inches is a big flower. They could have made the problem spots wider without compromising the image. The problem is not that I am picking small sizes - -like a 2 inch full princess is just unreasonable. Anyway, I used CDS to make the yellow a solid piece instead and now I have something useable.

That can be a tricky cart. Some of those pieces are just too thin. I cut my Fawn at 4" and she wasn't too bad to put together. I wanted her with the tree so I had to keep her kind of smallish. Her title was cut at 2 1/2 inches and it was a bear to put together. I came close to trashing it a couple of times, but I finally got it put together. The overall size of it is a good size, it's just some of those skinny little flower pieces.

I have my stuff packed at home to take to camper this weekend - only a few more weekends to finish and I have a weeklong vacation in between.

So, this weekend, the camper will be overcome with glitter! My remaining elements are getting glittified! My husband will not like this...neither will the dog. She doesn't much like to be sparkly

Group 20 - L for villains - -I used the Happy Hauntings font and a raven from that cart

My DD10 is better with stickles than me, so I asked her to it. She did a great job!

Great job on those! DD sure did do nice stickling!! Rosetta came out very pretty - especially given those tiny little fairy pieces. I can't wait to get the Happy Hauntings cart - it has a lot of cool stuff, doesn't it?

Susan - those are all great!!! I had cut my Viilains letter, but was not 100% happy with it. Would you mind if I changed mine to that font from the HH cart? It looks really good!

THis is AWM's spot in Grp C - Alice

THe clip art was printed on photo paper, there seems to be a bit of glare. I found a great font -- cream puff. I love it. Welds very well.
