I am checking in early as well. This week is going to be crazy at work as we are having our financial audit actually over the next two weeks. I am on schedule though with only two groups to finsih.

I finished making a 6" Rosetta paper piecing tonight. She was difficult. The eyes were just nor feasible. I used a gel pen for the irises. It turned out okay. I will post a photo later.

I tried to make the title piece from page 53. I have made the similar corner pieces for Jasmine and Ariel, so I wasn't anticipating any problems. I very foolishly cut things in the wrong order I used 3 1/4 as the size, which in CDS seemed quite large. I cut out everything - -the black shadow, the base, all of the layers. I cut the letters last - -the Rosetta part. It was literally splinters of paper; it is completely un-usable. I may be able to play around with stickles or gel pens for my own use, but I wouldn't expect it to be swap worthy. I am so mad at the waste of paper and the waste of time cutting it all out.

Plan B is to use the Rosetta on the filigree function. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a shadow and it is pointless to try to make one in CDS It will probably end up like a regular 8x2 topper.

I also finished AWM's 4" E for Eeyore tonight.
That leaves me with:
2" villains letter
Rosetta: one element
Alice (for AWM): 2 elements
Stitch: 2 elements
Lotso: 2 elements

Got supplies and ideas so should be good to go soon - i hope to have them postal before i go on holiday on the 20th which gives them plenty of time to get to you!

I was waiting to get started to see if there was anything that caught my eye at the CKC convention this weekend...so I have my paper and embellishments and I just need to get started...no worries...I also need to find a cricut or something to make my letters...

Checking in - have ideas for my remaining groups - I don't have it all in front of me - out of town for work as usual. I think my letter groups are all almost done - I need to embellish mickey but I have it all together and then I need to cut and embellish autographs I think.

Have ideas for my element groups and got some really cool stuff last Friday at CKC Valley Forge (I spent a small fortune in only a few hours )

It will all get done in time!

Ok so I added a title to my Sulley.

And I had this brilliant idea of using fabric instead of paper for my Minnie Group, dont ask why exactly. It came out ok. I ran out of Xyron though, so I think I'm going to do some paperclips, no fabric though. that was a hot mess..

I am further behind then I meant to be since I was planning on mailing this past weekend. Due to a minor family emergency, I had to rush out of town. I am finished with all my groups. I just have to finish bagging and put my tags in my bags. I should be ready to mail by the end of the week. I will post pictures of the rest of my groups soon.

I too am finishing the Sketch Swap, which I only have two spots and one spot is done .. so hopefully I will be done with this one next week'ish? But I really enjoy doing the small letters .. I have those designed, just need to cut them out! But I have to time when I cut as when the kids are in bed the Cricut is a wee bit loud lol

I am excited to start on my items!

JLD, your Sully set is wonderful and your Minnie set is looking good too! I've never tried fabric, but I've seen pieces made with it and they look wonderful!

I know I'm behind on updating the slideshow. I normally only work a couple days a week, but I'm working 5 days a week at the moment and I'm not used to it so my usual routine is all out of whack! I'll try to get the slideshow current this weekend.
