Character Swap - Brainstorming

Yes I have groups set up for each dwarf as well as a page kit for each one as well.

How many elements for how many people are you thinking of for the page kits? It sounds fantastic but I'm having trouble envisaging how it would work - would you have a page for each character or lump them all together for a mega-page?

I may be alone but I'd love to Meeko in a group. We just stalked him for 4 years after DSthenalmost3 just missed him at AK when he walked away after a 2 minute session and DS had no clue who he was. We FINALLY found him this last trip and that little raccon was awesome about it - DSnow6 had a cutstom shirt I made with a 'meeko where are you?" iron on and meeko posed about 10 ways for pics with him after I told him how long we'd been looking for him.

In the spirit of meeko, how about other obscure movie characters that don't fall into villians or princesses or another bucket? There are quite a few that are out often - meeko, terk, pocohontas, jiminy cricket, mulan/mushu, kenai/koda, and I'm sure there are others if I wasn't up at 5am on a sunday writing this!

I was wondering on the page kits would what would you like to see. My idea was

Specify 1 character from the following films and create your page kit around that character. Please don't choose a character that is already spoken for. This will help to eliminate doubles

For example I choose The mice in Cinderella i would make my kits around the Mice and AWM creates all hers around Lady Tremaine, SIOH picks Lucifer so her elements are all about the naughty kitty.

That sounds cool! I like that idea (and I LOVE Mr. Naughty Kitty himself!!)

So the groups of page kits are by films -- in the group you listed, you wouldn't find Mr incredible. Is this right? I like it too.

For the page kits I was thinking of this

Page Kits: Journal box, Tag, and 4 decorative shapes plus 1 element of your choice..

The the non page kits will be 1 element from my list.

Would you like to see how I have them grouped up? I can do them 2 ways..The first example is my favorite.
each group would have a sub group, so each character would have 6 elements in the end. So each prince would have 6 people working on a different element for him, each specifying what element they are making.

I like the first grouping better than the second. I would really like a photo mat in a page kit of characters because I use them when I see the characters- I don't always get an autograph but I always take a photo with them so I would want a mat in any kit personally.

Here is another vote for a photo mat in the page kit (but I'll sign up regardless!).


I like your first grouping also. I am especially happy about the one element --- I can sign up for more groups! We seriously met over 50 characters on our last trip -- and I have 3 kids and sometimes they met the characters individually. I need tons of stuff!

Are you planning on a villians group? DD met them all at MNSSHP.

What about offering some of both kinds of groups?

Yes, I have villain groups as well. I am going with one element because one it is easier and 2 when we get them all back we pretty much will have a page kit. So with that being said I will go with the first choice of groupings Thanks for all the feedback it will make doing this so much easier knowing what everyone wants and is looking for.

I'm in the Arizona time zone so I was thinking about 9am or so, a little earlier if I can get myself out of bed.

I have made a list of the characters.. still thinking how to do the sign-ups. Probably will be just each character as it's own group. I can add or delete any character that might not have enough interest. I am just trying to cover all the character bases. I can also combine characters to fill groups and add sub groups if there is more interest in a particular character.

The page kits will be done my movie & lands So there won't be as many groups..lol..
