Hi All,

Would love to get your opinion on an idea I had.

I am going to WDW February 26-March 1 2023 with my DW, DS and DD, and I was trying to think of ideas of what I can have the Characters sign. My DS loves Rubix Cubes and speed cubes, he has a huge collection, so I went on one of the cube sites ansd found this:

Large Cube.jpg
Its a cube that is 13.70 inches, which means each piece is about 4.5 inches square, I spoke with the company that is selling it and they said it is commonly used for signing at cube competitions, so signing with permanent markers would work.

My son knows how to take apart the cube, so we can carry around the pieces separately

What do you Think.

Nathan

I think it's a fun idea but considering it's not an actual rubik's cube, not sure how easy it would be to take apart and put back together. Seems large to carry around all day and take on attractions. I'd be more temped to get characters to sign individual pieces of paper and affix them to the cube after as opposed to trying to carry it/the pieces around.

Just my .02.

I spoke with the company, they told me it should be easy to take apart, and my son seems to know how to do it too, assuming we could take it apart, what are your thoughts

If you can manage it, do it. I think unusual autograph ideas are much better than the books. When my daughter was around 7, and 8 as we did it two years in a row we had her pick out a baseball cap. That was her autograph medium. In addition to getting the hats filled up twice, the characters loved them. She still has the hats and wears them. She's 28 now. So yes again. Go with your cube!

If you’re good carrying around the pieces then I think it’s a fun idea!
