I've been reading trip reports as I just booked our first cruise and I thirst for cruise knowledge!! I've seen a few reports where there are pictures of kids in their beds with character sheets on them. Do people bring these or does Disney provide them? Do you have to request them? Help! Thanks!!

DCL bedding does not have characters on them. They may have hidden Mickeys embossed on them, but that's it.

When we went on Alaska & Panama Canal cruise they put cars sheets on my son's bed he had the upper bunk bed. It was a nice surprise because they started out with white sheets in the beginning of the cruise. Hope this helps.

Our room steward put Princess sheets on my DD's sofa bed on our West Coast Cruise in 2012. It is a little pixie dust provided by the room steward. We didn't ask for it.

We had the same on our Alaska cruise last year. My 4yo DD was in absolute heaven.

we did the bahama night on the Dream and my sons bed was made up with character sheets each nig

On the fantasy, we started with white on the kids bedm and mid week they switched to cars and princesses!

(Which actually started the biggest melt down on our trip cause they put them on the wrong bed, and my 8 year old wouldn't sleep in princesses..)

We've been on 6 cruises and have never gotten character sheets. We have cruised with kids ranging in age from 9 months to 13 years.

Just a little touch of pixie dust from the room steward! pixiedust:

I like to hear about the extra little things some room attendants do to make the cruise extra special for the families they are caring for.:goodvibes

Unless I was imagining it, our room steward put CARS sheets on our son's bed on one night of our cruise. I have a photo, so unless my mind and my camera are in cahoots, they DO exist. LOL

We had princess ones for my dd and cars ones for my two ds...out of 8 cruises this happened once on the Fantasy.

well, then, this explains how my personal pillow from home with the pooh pillow case disappeared and was not discovered in lost & found... I thought I was so clever putting a character pillow case on it, thinking there were none in Disney's laundry room... but I guess there are!

On one sailing on the Fantasy, the CM put Cars themed pillow cases on the drop-down bunk, but left the main bed "normal". The CM's have to wait and figure out who sleeps where before they do anything, I'm sure. Don't want that Princess vs Cars issue happening too often as a PP mentioned.
