Character Question

This will be our first trip to Universal. I heard that we will see characters. Do they do autographs as well?

At universal side we have seen jimmy neutron,shrek and donkey in his little booth and IOA we have seen xmen like storm , cyclops ,wolverine,rouge,captin america ,spiderman and woody wood pecker but there are alot others there and they all sign autographs.

Universal Studios: Dora, SpongeBob, The Simpsons, Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, Jimmy Neutron, Shaggy and Scooby Do, Woody Woodpecker, Curious George, Madagascar characters, Barney, Popeye, Olive Oyl, Zorro, characters from the Beetlejuice show, Marilyn Monroe, and Lucy and Desi.

IoA: Spiderman, Marvel Superheroes, Bullwinkle, Popeye and Olive Oyl, Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and 2, and Grinch.

(I'm sure there are a few I have left out.)

e just got back & the only ones that couldnt sign were spongebob, shrek & donkey....she got her book stamped

but most others could sign....you HAVE to go see the GRINCH!!!!! & bring the camcorder as well!!!!

Yeah, SpongeBob's arms are too thin so he has to stamp the autograph book. Donkey has no arms.

I think Barney used a stamp too. I was distracted keeping my little ones from losing thier ever lovin' mind while we were in line, but I'm pretty sure Barney stamped the guys autograph book in front of us.

The movie grinch (think jim carey) is only there for Grinchmas. After the Grinchmas show closes in Jan it goes back to being the Grinch from the book. The costume is not as elaborate. Still worth taking pictures with the little one's of course but I wanted to remind everyone that their are 2 diff Grinch's so that no one was dissapointed.

are you able to buy an autograph book in the parks like at disney?

They have some, but most people use a small Universal spiral for autographs. You can buy those also. If you want to keep the autographs in all one book, they will also sign autograph books with Disney logo.

Is this an up to date list?? My daughter and I were looking at the picture of the day thread and she has decided that this is a must on our next trip to Orlando. My children are 5 and 3 and love to character hunt. They would really love to meet Dora, Shrek Characters, Scooby Characters, Grinch characters. Trying to decide if they are age ready for US and/or IOA. TIA!!!

Dora, Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, Scooby and Shaggy, Grinch, and Thing 1 and Thing 2 are there everyday.
