Am I the only one to think that out off the Disney owned Character stores that this the best one in terms of merchandice they get in for sale? I do realize that all of the stores are mostly the same in terms of what items they are currently selling, but I think I have had the best luck at this perticular store. Another reason why I think this is because it's the closest store to Walt Disney World. I do know they have one at the Lake Buena Vista Outlet Mall & that maybe closer to WDW, but I think someone said WDW does not own that store & they also get much less merchandise. So what are your thoughts about this?

Where is this outlet mall? Is there a nike shoe there as well as Disney?

Thank you

This store's inventory during the end of June was pitiful...waste of time.

Sales Clerk told me it's been like this for over a year and that she couldn't remember the last time they had trading pins...@ least a year or so.

There is also a Disney Character outlet at the outlet center in St Augustine. We plan on stopping at this one on the way down Friday to see how it compares to the ones in Orlando. I am hoping that it will be better. I figure the ones in Orlando get a lot of traffic from all the out of town visitors to WDW, maybe the one in St Augustine doesn't see that much. Of course I realize that they can move inventory around to any store but I have to have some glimmer of hope that it will be better! :thumbsup2

The Character Warehouse in the Belz wall used to be great. But that was before they kept most of the discounted stuff in the parks. I remember a time when you never saw a sale at the theme parks. The prices used to be so great but that was before everyone found out about them. I think that now they almost purposely over stock so they can markdown and sell the extras. Prices and quality of most products at Disney is abismal and I think that people are much better off going to one of the local Wal Marts and purchasing the souveniers they wish to bring home.

Yep, there is a Nike store at this one, too. It's off the I-4 exit and state road 535. If you're heading west on I-4, you'll see it before you get to the downtown disney exit (it's right near Dixie Stampede).

For those interested in going to just the Character Premier store, park on the back side down near Mikasa and Bass and you can just walk right thru and you're there. Much easier to find a space that's convenient and you don't have to thread your way through the food court :)

FWIW, we were there on Thursday and they had an ok selection - what I noticed was that they had moved things around - the kids' section wasn't in the back of the store any more.

Oh my - we were in St. Augustine in April and I didn't know that they had a Disney character outlet store there until we just happened to go to the Outlet stores. It was quite a bit larger and a lot more selection at good prices than what we've found at the Character Premier store at the Premium Outlets in Orlando. Hope you had good luck!
