There are three places to get pictures with characters in the World Showcase. Look in Morocco way back in the back. There is another one in France and the United Kingdom. We were able to get pictures with Aladdin, the Genii, Beauty, Beast and Mary Poppins with little to no wait.
Also look for the Character Bus. It stops in the Showcase Plaza several times a day. We found that we were able to get pictures with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Gepetto, Rafiki, Dopey, Baloo and Chip and Dale in a very short period of time. There was another character or two but I can't remember who they were.
