Character Palooza 2016

I just recently heard about this unofficial event that happens at Hollywood Studios. It's not announced and the cast members won't tell you anything about it. So my question is, does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to time it where you won't miss this event? I'd really like to meet some of the rare and hard to find characters.

Yes I saw that. 6.99 for the year. I'll probably pay. I've heard he's the only one that has the info. I did a Google search and found nothing else.

Hey--- it is at the bottom of the characters for Hollywood studios. It took me awhile to find it! But it's there!! He also has a discussion board (called rant and rave, I think) and he will answer your questions.

One of my friends and I split a subscription becuase she is going once and I am going once - so we each pitched in 1/2 of the cost - something to think about

We subscribed to the Character Locator app for this trip and it was SO helpful. DD has turned out to be a real character hunter, so we found it very useful. It helped us choose the best time to see busy characters like Merida and Aurora. Also, we did happen upon Characterpalooza and met a BUNCH of characters that DD loves. So worth it!

A small, random collection of characters that appear in Fantasmic. They meet and sign autographs for about 10, 20 min at HS. Most days

Love KtP! We got to meet Brér Fox, Robin Hood and Bert last month using his app. His character time and location guide was more accurate than the MDE app. It's definitely worth the money!

KTP is definately the go to guy for characters and his crowd calendars are an excellent planning tool as well. Used his app the last couple of trips when planning park days and he has been spot on.

The $6.99 subscription is definitely worth supporting Kenny the Pirate for his information! DSis and I caught Characterpalooza last year thanks to the app. There was a mix of rare and more common characters, but as is reported, very few people know about it so you don't feel rushed. DSis even gave Meeko an extra hug since everyone else was focusing on the others. Buy the subscription as close to your trip as you feel comfortable to know when to fit it in.
