Character of the Week- Captain Hook

It's the start of another week, so that means a new character of the week as well. Last week was Donald Duck, but this week it's time for one of Disney's most popular Villains- Captain Hook.

hey -- i missed the character of the week last week. what a neat idea! are we allowed to post our own photos with the cap'n? i love that photo of the cap'n & peter on the castle... never seen anything like that before!

Sure. If anyone else wants to add any of their own pics to these "Character of the Week" posts, feel free to. That would be a great way to get everyone involved.

I thought of asking that last week when you did Donald, I thought it would be neat, but I did not want to step on anyone's toes.

Okay, that is going to be an incentive for me to learn how to post a picture, Dan Murphy took care of the one we have.

Great job Meeko for posting this fun idea If you do it every week, with all the characters at WDW, think of how quick all of our trips will come having that to look forward to also

This reminds me of a funny incident with my DH and Captain Hook. It was in 1997, our 2nd trip as a "family" (I always went as a child ) DH had never posed with any character before and I really didn't think I would be able to convince him to do so. We were in Liberty Square and there stood Captain Hook and Mr. Smee...and not a kid to be seen anywhere (aside for my 3!). I finally convinced DH to go up and let me take their picture. He was a bit awkward at first. I jokingly told the 3 to "Show me your best side!". Captain Hook found humor in my statement and....well....showed me his BEST side! He turned around and bent over!! My son, who was 7 at the time, found this hysterical!! It really lightened my husband's mood around ALL the characters!! (also made for a great picture!!)
