Character meet ups Disney California

Hello my and my sisters are going to California next year and we are only going for 3 days so want to make the most of meeting characters.

I know you can meet them in their own sections but was wondering if anyone knows of any other places they visit when wandering?

I know of the musical chairs for Alice and the Mad hatter, i want to see more things like that? I hope this makes sense

If anyone knows good places and times too meet some of the characters if you could comment and let me know and help me and others out that would be great!

Rapunzel & Flynn
Peter & Wendy
The ugly step sisters

In the past I have seen Wendy at the ride side of the entrance by the theater, Peter is rare. Alice is a hit and miss, again sometimes at the entrance area. In the morning there tends to be quite a few characters roaming around in the entrance after you go under the train. They will be on the center circle or on the outsides of the circle.

Those characters you listed are not in DCA, but in Disneyland and they don't have set meet and great areas.

Some of the characters listed are part of long lost friends and it is tough to say if they will be out next year, but Rapunzel & Flynn can be found in Fantasy Fair and Alice in the Mad Hatter roaming Fantasyland, same with Peter Pan.

Another poster started a list of potential characters you might find at various locations throughout the parks. There are very few fixed character meet and greets, so finding some characters are going to be a matter of luck.

I think you have a decent chance of finding Alice & the Mad Hatter and Rapunzel & Flynn. I think you'll have to be lucky to find Peter & Wendy (especially together). The Stepsisters (and Lady Tremaine) seem most likely to be only available for special events (e.g., MHP) and activities (e.g., Big Thunder Ranch's Long Lost Friends weekends).

In March this year, we saw Peter Pan and Mad Hatter at Goofy's Kitchen dinner, and the ugly step sisters at the Big Thunder Ranch area.

Just a note to the OP, but the stepsister and Lady Tremaine were at Big Thunder Ranch area earlier this year as part of Long Lost Friends weekends. However, that event has ended and Big Thunder Ranch Carnival area now has a spring time overlay. There are still some cool/rare characters out there, but I haven't seen reports saying the Stepsisters were among them.

Wendy is harder to find, but I have an Annual Pass and I see Peter Pan and Captain Hook together every time I'm there. They stand on the path to the right of the castle, near the wishing well.

Last week it was thumper, white rabbit, Brer Rabbit, balloo and Spring Mickey. There was also NO ONE there so great interaction.

I usually see the step sisters around small world area. Peter is usually to the right of the castle area with a princess around. I have never seen Wendy though. Mad hatter and Alice do set's around the Piano man on main street at Coke Corner. Rapunzel and Flynn are in the new princess meet and greet area. Hope that helps!
