WE are thinking of doing the dining plan for a March 2007. I have a 4.5 DS and a 2.5 DD. I have been thinking about the following character dinners. !900 Park Fare, Crystal Palace, and Chef Mickeys, & Liberty TRee Tavern. WE want to eat at VERY firendly kid places. I have also thought of Sci-Fi Dine In, 50's Primetime, Coral Reef, Tony's Town Square. What does everyone think?
Any info or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have all boys so I cannot comment on 1900 Park Fare, although I have heard only great things. Chef Mickeys is our family fav. Crystal palace is great and very kid friendly and We also have done Liberty more than once. I would do all of these. Sci-Fi is dark so if that is an issue for your young children, Prime Time is another one of our must do's. Tony's is ok, not overly kid friendly imo and we haven't done Coral Reef, we don't eat seafood.
Hope this helps..with kids your ages I would definately do all of those
character meals and Prime Time. What about hollywood and vine, at 4 and 2
your kids probably like JoJO and the Einsteins?

Yes, they do like JOJO and Little Einsteins, I will add that to my list. Thanks!

We have done 1900 Park Faire for Breakfast. They had Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger as the characters there. They were kid-friendly. My neice and nephew enjoyed our breakfast there. I agree with the above poster, Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace were great and very kid-friendly as well. Chef Mickey's had Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale and Pluto. At Crystal Palace we saw Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet.

At those ages, I'd go for Chef Mickey's...all the classic characters will be there to meet, the food is good, kid friendly atmosphere, and nothing is more classic WDW then riding the monorail through the Contemporary hotel lobby!

Those restaurants such as Liberty Tree Tavern, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, Cape May Cafe, pretty much all character restaurants are great for kids around those ages, they usually have kids friendly meal choices and are usually a buffet. The characters entertain them and you, I think that character dining is a great time!!!!!!
