Character Meals

Does a CM travel with the characters around the dining room? Like it's going to be just me and my boyfriend and if I want us both in the pic, will there be a CM to do it for us?

A CM doesn't walk around with the characters, but the tables are usually so close together in the restaurants (esp. 1900 Park Fare!) that someone next to you would probably take the picture for you. I've taken many pictures for people sitting around me.

Sometimes, we ask our server to do it.

I noticed that when it was just dh and I our server always offered to help out by taking pictures for us. When our server was away from the table we just asked another table and offered to take one of them as well. It all worked out well.

I have tons of pictures taken at Chef Mickey's by CMs and other guests, many of the times I was there solo....happiest place on earth you can get someone to take pics..Have a Great Time

At Garden Grill a cm usually walks around with the characters. GG is our favorite character meal at WDW. The food is great, it's private and quiet, and the character interaction is the best.

DH and I will be going to three character meals ('Ohana, GG, and CP). Is it weird to go without kids? I really want to meet the characters (and get their autographs). I read that others have done it, so I guess I am just looking for reassurance.

Nope, we went to many character meals before we had kids. The Character spent just as much time at our table as they did others.

It is NOT weird! We are only doing Chef Mickey's, but I booked it for the character interaction. Besides, who said you aren't a kid?
