Character meals?

Which one would you recommend? We went to one years ago, can't remember where! Spiderman was there. How early should I book one?

This past Sunday, we went to the character breakfast at Confisco Grille in IOA for my DS's 4th birthday. Spiderman and Thing 1 and Thing 2 were there and The Cat in the Hat popped in briefly. Superman was awesome! He was really accessible and came by several times. DS and DD were both in heaven! We had a 10:15 am reservation so I am uncertain what there earliest ressies available were. We booked the day before at the reservation booth at the entrance to the attractions in IOA.

Does anyone have any pictures of the Spiderman or Scooby Doo/Shaggy character meals? By this, I mean the restaurants and characters, not the food

Sorry the pics are so big. I don't know how to make them smaller. This is the character breakfast at Confiscos.

I don't know of a character meal with Shaggy and Scooby, but I've seen them several times in front of the kid section at Universal. They arrive in the cute van and Shaggy is really great with the kids.

Unless things have changed of recent, Hard Rock Hotel also has breakfast appearances by characters most days at the Kitchen buffet. Scooby Doo, Cat in the Hat, and Spiderman were all there last visit. This is not mentioned in the HRH website...?

I didnt know they ever had the characters at breakfast at any of the hotels. I knew dinner. I'll be looking into that, thank you.

I called today to book Confiscos and they didn't guarentee any
characters specifically. Usually Scooby but the rest are up for
grabs. The same at Confiscos, spidey is there but the rest they
don't know.

so from what I am reading, it seems like they only have one resturant that does the character meals? Or is it two different character meals at the same place? one scooby doo and one spiderman? Or they are all at the same place same time?
We were there years ago and it was Dr. Doom, SPiderman, Olive Oil, Popee and a few others.

Can an expert/veteran please clarify? There is one character meal at the parks, Confiscos, a breakfast character meal. HRH has a character meal on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Are there any others?

I just called reservations because I can't find my confirmation # for the Spidey breakfast. It was after hours so I got a recording and it said that the breakfast at Confiscos is only Thursday - Sunday.

I'm SO out of touch w/happenings @ US & IOA!! Do you have to stay on a US property to get the character bkft? I have clients staying at the Nickelodan Holiday Inn in July and think this would be great fun for them to add onto their package if available.

You do not have to stay on site for the character breakfast. We are staying at Give Kids the World Village for dd's wish trip and are going to the breakfast.
