The Resort and Airlines are booked :cheer2: , now it is time to focus on meal plans. popcorn::

Going with DD (functioning at Preschooler level).

I figure we need to see Princesses princess: , Mikey ::MickeyMo , Pooh pooh: , Playhouse Disney, and Chip & Dale (she really likes the real old Chip & Dale shows).

With some of these I do not have a choice, there are only one spot to see the characters. With the ones that I have choosen, I am open to hear other choices and why they might be better than what I have. I also have two more days that I need to plan a TS meal for, so what else might I want to consider. Like do I want to do Princesses at both the CRT and another location? Do I want to do one of these maybe more than once? I have a 7 year old preschooler here, what will she like?

Chip & Dale - Garden Grill
Princesses - Cinderella’s Royal Table (in the Castle!)
Pooh & Friends - Crystal Palace
Playhouse Disney - Playhouse Disney’s Play ‘N Dine
Mikey & Friends - Chef Mickey’s

She might enjoy Ohana's. There aren't characters, but there are parades & things for kids.

I haven't been, but supposedly Cinderella, Prince Charming, & the Stepsisters at 1900 Park Fare are amazing at character interaction.

Well, Ohana's breakfast typically has Mickey, Pluto, Lilo & stitch.

You can also catch many of the Princesses at Askerhus (however you spell it, LOL) in Norway (I think?) at Epcot. Never done any Princess meals myself, I think Cinderella is usually missing here, among the princesses.

There is also the ever popular Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto & Goofy)

Also Donald's Breakfast buffet at Tusker House in AK (Donald, Daisy, Mickey, Minnie)

There's a few more for you. :)

If you can't get an ADR at CRT, I'd suggest Akershus as a princess alternative - the princess interaction there is great and ADRs are much easier to score, plus this is a 1-TS location. princess:

You may wish to consider the Biergarten as well - when travelling with preschoolers in the past they have really enjoyed the boisterous atmosphere and the live music/dance floor. :dance3: They don't know what the whole tiki-taki-tiki-taki cheering is about (beer) but they loved shouting along with everyone else!

Ohana breakfast is fun too, they have a parade and Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto are there. If your DD loves old Chip and Dale cartoons then surely she knows Pluto too... seeing as how he and Donald were their most common 'victims' :rotfl: The upside to this one is, it is served at the table family-style instead of on a buffet line - so once you're settled in, except for participating in the parade, you can stay put.

Hope you have a magical trip!

We've been to CRT once and been to the princess character dinner at 1900 Park Faire (at GF) many many times. so that right there tells you which our princess prefers. LOL We found the food to be better there too- but the atmosphere is just more relaxed, less rushed, and the character interaction is great. ALSO we just prefer the dinner buffet instead of pigging out on breakfast at CRT. We haven't tried dinner there- but still I'd vote you give the dinner at GF a try especially if you can't get CRT which is hard to get..
(we've never had a problem getting the dinner at 1900 Park Faire)

My kids liked Ohana breakfast- but primarily because Stitch was a must see character that year. (for my oldest- littlest one loved seeing Lilo too though!)

We love donald's breakfast -we always had it when it was at restaruantosaurus or whatever that was called- but I imagine the food is the same now at tusker house? I wonder why they switched that? anywho...

Crystal Palace (good food/good interaction), Chef Mickey's (good interaction with characters- food wasn't so great and we're not food snobs... it was just mostly cold/etc.), and Garden Grill to see Chip & Dale were all on our "must do" lists in the past.

You've made some good choices in my opinion! :)

We've done Akershus which is good to see other "princesses" but the food wasn't so great in our opinion...

We did Beirgarten once and the kids liked that too. :)

For the princesses I'd go with Akershus all the way!!!!! We went for breakfast in January and got in before the park opened. Enjoying walking to WS with practically an empty Epcot was wonderful. Character interaction was great!!! We had Jasmine, Aurora, Snow White, Mulan, and Belle as the greeter. Mary Poppins was outside. The meal comes with a photo package- a folder with pictures of your child with the greeting princess (in our case, Belle). They bring the pictures to you while you are eating. If you are worried about not liking the food in Norway, breakfast is pretty standard fare, but good eats.

Crystal Palace is our favorite in the Magic Kingdom for characters. If you don't want to do a character meal for Playhouse Disney, you can see pretty much all the Little Einsteins, JoJo and Goliath, and Handy Manny outside of the Playhouse Disney show at Hollywood Studios.

You could also do the campfire at the campground with Chip & Dale. It's free to all resort guests!

More info:
When does the campfire program begin and what is it like?

The campfire program has no admission fee and is open to all WDW resort guests. It generally begins around 7 p.m. during the fall/winter season and 8 p.m. after the time changes in April through the summer. It is held near the Meadow Trading Post in the campfire area. The program begins with a sing-along led by a Disney CM and a marshmallow roast around two campfire rings. You may bring your own marshmallows or buy them at the Chuckwagon (roasting sticks and marshmallows are $2). You may also buy pizza, hot dogs, candy, nachos, juice, popcorn, sodas, coffee, beer and other refreshments at the Chuckwagon. While this is going on, Chip and Dale make an appearance to visit with guests and sign autographs. The sing-along lasts about 40 minutes. Next, one or two Disney animated features, depending upon the season, are shown on a large outdoor screen. Seating is available in bleachers or on benches. There is also plenty of room to lay out a quilt or blanket. The movie schedule is posted at all comfort stations. In the event of rain, the sing-along is still held on the porch of the Meadow Trading Post.
