Character Meals at Christmas

Are any of the characters in Christmas gear for the holidays?

Are the restaurants decorated for the holidays also?

Mostly asking about

BOG, CRT, CP, H&V (I know that it probably will because of Minnie but we have breakfast), O'hana, Chef Mickeys and Akerhaus

I don't remember exactly but I took a quick look back at pictures and the restaurants do have decorations - not sure about yours specifically but I did see a picture we have from Biergarten where the entire stage is decorated. I would assume most restaurants would have decorations as well. Been awhile since we have done a character meal so I can't comment on that.

Some do it up, and some might just put up a Christmas tree. You can't expect major decorating at every restaurant.

I wouldn't expect major, just mainly wondering about the characters. I figured they would have minor decor in all places but just maybe have it in the major restaurants.

Not really, someplace like Chef Mickey's would probably not be overly decorated although they'd probably have a tree.

BOG has a huge tree in front of the Big Window at the far end of the ballroom as well as swags hanging from the walls. Characters at CP are dressed for the holidays (scarves & hats I think). We know H & V dinner should have Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy & Goofy. I would expect the other H & V characters during the day to at least have holiday scarfs added to their costumes. I don't know what the do with the princesses. Al the restaurants I've been in have been decorated for the holidays.

Holiday and Vine has a Minnie's Holiday Dine Dinner where the characters are specifically supposed to be dressed up. So if that is a priority for you, you might want to look into that. There are options with and without Fantasmic seating.
