Have you done them? Are they any good? What characters are there? I was looking at some pictures on the website and other than the Grinch and Minions, I don't think my kids would know or care about any other characters.

Other than meals, what characters can you meet in the parks or resorts? Are they walking around or in certain locations like in WDW?

On our last trip, we did The Crystal Palace for breakfast. Winnie the Pooh and Friends were there. This coming trip we will be doing breakfast at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom with Safari Donald and Friends. LO was 20 months the last trip and scared to interact with the characters at first but towards the end of our trip, he warmed up but still wouldn't hug or even high five them. He'll be 2 months shy of 3 on our next trip and he talks about seeing all of his favorite characters now. The characters don't walk around anymore. There are certain spots that you have to go and see them. There's a character meet and greet spot in Epcot that I believe we saw Mickey and Friends. The character meals are nice because you are at your table eating and they come around to you. Waiting in line can a bit much especially for a toddler/preschooler that's been waiting in lines most of the day. But it is fun to interact with them either way.

There are loads of characters around Universal,parks.........Scooby and Shaggy are out, this year we got pics with the whole gang for the first time......Minions and Gru are excellent too.......

Simpsons including Krusty and Sideshow Bob, Betty Boop, Marlilyn Monroe, Lucy, Hop crowd, woody woodpecker, Spider-Man, Marvel characters, Transformers, Cat in the Hat, Grinch and a few other Zeuss characters, Shrek and Donkey, Princess Fiona, Barney, MIB men, SpongeBob SquarePants, Blues Brothers, Stiltwalkers outside Mummy, Olive Oyl and Popeye.........I'm sure there's more for little ones too.......you can get your picture taken with ET but he's not a character is a doll type thing of ET. There is also a meet with a dinosaur which is fun.

They may not appeal to your kids but the interaction with all of them is phenomenal.

Character meals with Gru and minions and Scooby and Shaggy in the hotels is excellent too.

Does Dora still show up at character breakfasts? My son absolutely loves her.
