I wanted to book up for an evening meal at cafe mickey and also a lunch with the princesses. i thought i had read somewhere that even though you can eat at cafe mickey from 5ish the characters dont appear till 7??? and is this the same with princesses the restaurant is open but they are only there for a certain time?? anyone shed soe light on this or know of any web pages to check or is it best to just ring and make a reservation and ask then? thanks

How up to date are those prices and the dessert? I thought I read elsewhere on the board that there is no Cinderella Slipper anymore at the Princess Dinner. :confused3

We booked for 12 at the princess lunch, and they were there almost straight away. The children's dessert is the cinderella slipper.

The menu on www.dlpfoodguide.com was updated in January and still mentions the slipper. I know Walts stopped the slipper but had not heard about it being taken from Auberge de Cendrillon :)

The slipper is still available for kids at the Auberge, but it is not available for adults.

I booked my party into Cafe Mickey yesterday, for our first night (25th March) at 6-30pm, and ordered a birthday cake for my DW. The lady at the other end of the phone was very helpful & wanted to know how old she would be and her name etc. Do they put this on the cake or use it in any way? Also, do they bring the cake out automatically, or do you have to remind them?

I think I am only making the on booking, as I want to keep our options open & see what we fancy doing once we get there. I don't think we will have much trouble getting into places, and I really want to see how the grandkids (aged 2 & 3) are keeping the pace before deciding what time to eat. I want us to have an early breakfast & take full advantage of EMH, so we may take them back for an afternoon rest or a swim in the SL pool.

Gosh, I am so excited, which after our dream holiday last year, is quite incredible, but I can't wait to see the kids faces - just 11 more sleeps

The Dining Reservation number is 0033 160 304050. They speak in both French & English, and the lady was very helpful

When we were at Auberge last Easter the Princesses came out for a while then disappeared for a short while then came out again. It was done as a story where the 2 mice (Suzy and Perla) loved playing at being Princesses then the 'real' Princesses appear

WE really enjoyed it as well - thought the whole thing was really well done and the food was delicious - proper French food.
Id love to go again but dont think DS (21) would appreciate it when he comes with us on this next trip. Maybe in summer when we go again just with DD
