Character meal question (liberty Tree)

What characters are there usually? We just booked this for the night we are doing MVMCP.

Also anyone do Donald's Breakfastosaurus, what did you think of it and is it worth doing?

The characters at LTT are usually Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale. I don't know about Donalds - we are trying it for the first time in August.

We did Donalds Breakfastosaurus in AK in 2002. The characters there are Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Pluto. Thats all I can recall. We did like it a lot. It was one of the only character meals that reminded us of a disneyland character meal. The difference is in disneyland it is a buffet where you get up and serve yourself from many choices, you fill your own plate. It disneyworld you order a dish and they keep bringing you more of the same dish. (crappy) But at Donalds you get up and serve yourself. We loved it. The restraunt itself was weird in the fact there is one big room and then a few small side romms off from that. We were in one of the small side rooms. I remember the character interaction was great, the food was very good, and the atmosphere was really cool. (dinosaur theme) We (me, dh, and ds who was 3 then) really liked it a lot. We are eating there again in June when we go.

Also Liberty Tree Tavern was really good. Very patriotic feel. Homestyle Thanksgiving dinner family style. We were seated by a window and watched the spectromagic parade as we ate. Characters were Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Goofy. This was also in 2002. We really liked the food, and we did book it again for our June trip. The character interaction was very good here as well.

We were at LTT during MMNSHP and it was great. The characters were dressed up in their costumes and I took a million pics of my daughter because they kept coming around.

WE loved doing LTT during MVMCP. WE had a PS for 5:45 and finished up in about on hour. They let us wait just outside the resturant rather than go over to the other section of the park where they have day guest attending the party wait for 7:00.We walked over to the Hall of president and were almost first in line for our picture. We really liked the food and the character interation was awsome.

Also we like Donald's. It 's our favorite breakfast.

Just so you know, Mickey does not appear at LTT. It's usually Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale and if you're lucky Minnie will be there too. The food at LTT is awesome, one of the best restaurants at MK! A great choice!

hmmmm, i swore mickey was there, but you know, your probably right it was in 2002 last time we were there. We are going in June 2006 though. Now that you said it i looked thru our WDW scrap book and i see pics with minnie, goofy, chip and dale. Woopsie!!! Sorry no mickey.

What time was your ADR at L.T.T. and how long was the meal? Planning on eating there when we go.

ours was Oct. 2002 it was like 6:30p.m. or around then. I know the spectro magic parade was running i think at 7 ish cause in Oct. the park closed early.

Thanks Tinkerbell We are going in May2007 so think the parade will be later so may not work for us. I actually would prefer October, but someone toldDD that its hurricane season.

Hurricane Season actually starts June 1st and runs through November. That's a lot of months to try to avoid going to WDW! LOL In October, the park closes early on certain days because of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party which is a GREAT time to go! There are special Halloween fireworks, parades, trick or treating and the characters (at LTT too) will be dressed in their Halloween costumes! My point is....don't let the weather deter you from making your vacation plans. Hurricanes do happen of course, but Disney is always well prepared and will always put your safety first. Make your plans and have a wonderful vacation, no matter what time of year you decide to come!
