We are planning a rather unexpected trip in May - we just went at Christmas for our annual trip, but found out my DH has a conference in Orlando in May, so DD & I are going along & making an extended trip out of it :cheer2: This will be our 4th trip since 2003 & have done alot of character meals - some favorites (Lib Tree, CP, 1900 PF) & our not so favorites (chef mickey's, CRT - LOVE the castle, food only so-so, value HORRIBLE).

My DD & I will be doing the dining plan & we are trying to maximize it, so we're doing our most of our character meals at dinner whenever possible since they're the most expensive. The one meal we haven't done but I'm considering is the O'hana breakfast w/ Lilo & Stitch. My DD would love it - but wondering if it's worth it.

Also wondering if the 2 TS credits are worth it for the lunch at CRT? I know that the pictures are included - which we got when we were there in Dec b/c they were so nice - so I guess that's how they justify the extra cost, but is it really worth it? Maybe I just need some reassurance one way or the other. My DD will be 4 on 2/14 & LOVES the princesses, but at both CRT & Norway, they moved so fast that they barely stopped & posed for pictures! The pictures didn't even turn out cute - most of the princesses looked & acted like "geez - do I HAVE to do this again!" VERY disappointing for her. :guilty:

Any other ideas for character meals with or without DH would be greatly appreciated!!

Hmmm, we've had great experiences with the princesses at both Norway and CRT.......go figure.

I didn't see if you listed the Crystal Palace. We love that one.......Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet..........they spend lots of time with the kids, and sometimes do a parade around the restaurant with all the kids. The food is just regular lunch fare (which is when we go). Oh, now I see you did list it.......it's great to come back to, though.

How about the Garden Grill at Epcot? They've got Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale (don't remember if Goofy is there). Good food, you stay at your table, and the restaurant rotates around scenes from the Living with the Land boat ride.

We are also going to try O'hana's I think. Haven't made the ADR yet.
