I'm taking 2 adult women to WDW their first time in November. I'd like to take them to a character meal -doesn't matter if it's breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I think we'll do CP for lunch to get the Pooh characters but I need suggestions on the best place to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto (Chip and Dale are okay too). I don't see Minnie listed at Chef Mickey's yet I know she was there a few years ago :confused3 ? Which character meal will we see the most characters at? I checked Allears and the Unofficial Guide and they don't seem to agree on which characters are at which meals.....

Thanks for your help!

Garden Grill at Epcot would probably be about the best. The food is served family style (with lots of stuff "grown" at Epcot) and the characters are Minnie, Mickey, Chip, Dale and Pluto. They are there lunch and dinner. The atomspere is relaxed because the restaurant slowly revolves around the land ride.

I think Chef Mickey's will give you the most of the characters you are looking for. Im pretty sure they were all there last time.

I've been to Garden grill many times, including a week ago. Never saw Minnie there.

Chef Mickey is your best bet.

I would go to Cape May Cafe for Breakfast. Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale are there in their swimsuits. Last year we went to Chef Micky's we saw just Mickey and Minnie at Breakfast. Liberty Tree Tavern in MK has Mickey, Minnie and other characters (not a buffet but all-you-care-to eat family style)but I have never dined there. I really liked the buffet dinner at Crystal Palace in MK which was a lot of fun with Winnie The Poo and Tigger it's alot of fun! Hope this helps you out - have fun in Disney!

The OP wants the MOST characters. Last week at Cape May we only had Goofy, Minnie, and Dale (Not even Chip!)

LTT does not have Mickey either. Its Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

Good choice w/ Crystal Palace I'm sure they will love it! Since you are w/ 2 other adults I would pick Liberty Tree Tavern or Garden Grill. I think the ladies would enjoy the atmosphere & the food alot more than at Chef Mickeys. Don't get me wrong we love CM's w/ the kids but It wouldn't be my first choice with all adults. Garden Grill best food, LTT best atmosphere, all great character interaction! IMHO:goodvibes Maybe you could see Mickey in MK?

Liberty Tree Tavern characters include Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale. It's a family style meal serving you at the table. The food is pretty good, too! I think that's the only meal that features Minnie. :confused3

Just went this week and Minnie was at breakfast at CM.Along with Mickey, Pluto and Goofy. We also did Garden Grill for lunch, good food, had Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

Also did CP for Lunch and the food was great! DH was very impressed, said it was one of the best meals we had. Pooh, Eyeore, Piglet and Tigger were there.

Minnie's at Cape May breakfast which is a nice buffet, but I would not go out of my way via Disney Transportation to get there. Good if you are staying at an Epcot Resort though.

Chef Mickey's should be your best bet, you should get Mickey, Donald, Goofy, chip and Dale. :mickeyjum :donald:

Minnie was there a couple of years ago but not in August.
I do not think you can find her and Mickey together much anymore. :sad1:

The food is not the best in the World but the atmosphere is fun, and the mashed potatoes are delicious.

We just did CM breakfast on Sun 4/29 and it was Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto and Donald. Maybe Minnie was sick when you went. The CM told me when I made our ADRs that all characters are subject to change. They have to say this in case someone gets sick.

Garden Grill lunch on Tues 5/1 had Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

Yep, Mkrop is exactly right. Minnie wasn't featured at CM for a while, but she's back now. :thumbsup2 Garden Grill is one of my favorites and probably what I would suggest for you (although I haven't tried LTT yet) but you won't find Minnie there. You will see Chip and Dale however, and they are not at CM anymore. HTH!!!

I agree that Chef Mickey is the best we have been multpile times and have had great interaction with the characters. Last year Minnie cam and picked up my 4 year old and carried her around the roome dancing.

I think that the idea that you never are quite sure who you are going to get makes it even more interesting, and not as conformed and monotonous. If you enjoy or have favorite restaraunts and it is exactly the same everytime it could get boring.

I am not as rigid on what characters are there just as long as EVERY character comes to my table, they are what I am paying the big bucks for anyway, even if I do have to sit two hours to see them.:rotfl2::lmao:

Whatever you choose I am sure you are going to have a ball:laughing:

You may want to consider 1900 Park Fare for breakfast instead of Crystal Palace depending on your friend's character interests. Characters at breakfast are Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger. The characters were fun and friendly, especially the Mad Hatter. The breakfast was great, and it will give your friends an opportunity to see the Grand Floridian.

We went to the Crystal Palace for dinner and it was pretty hectic and loud. The food was good, but I (the adult!) was so overstimulated that I wasn't hungry. It was not relaxing. We also waited for 75 minutes to see all the characters (pooh, piglet, eeyore and tigger). My daughter loves Piglet so it was worth it, but I much preferred 1900 Park Fare (we went for a late breakfast, short ride from MK on the monorail). The interior of the Crystal Palace is beautiful however. The room for 1900 Park Fare was fine, but not special. (of course the hotel and gardens were spectacular).
