Character Meal for DD

We are going to be at WDW in June with a solo trip with our DD(9). We did the same thing last year with our DS and it was absolutely fantastic. We want to do a meal with our DD but we are conflicted with the choices.

A) Chef Mickeys - We have done this one and thought everything was great about it. It has been about 5 years since we have done it so I am ready to go back but I have to remember this for my DD not for me.

B) The Garden Grill - We did this for lunch on her first trip back in 1999. She says she remembers some of it and thought it was really neat and would like to do it again.

C) Akershus in Norway - My DD loves the Princesses and we have heard good things about this particular breakfast. The issue we are having with this is that we will be there during peak season in June and are afraid we won't be able to do everything that we want to do.

D) 1900 Park Fare at GF - My DD said she wanted to do this one. Now, from what I know about her she is not that big of a fan of Mary Poppins so I am really .

There are the choices. We have done 2 of them and we have not done 2 of them. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I just want to make this trip memorable for my little girl.

Does she want to do 1900 breakfast or dinner? Dinner has Cindy, Prince C. and Suzy and Perla. Maybe that was what she saw rather than the Mary Poppins breakfast. I would pick this one out of your choices I think.

DD#2 loves the Princesses so we visit the Princess Storybook Breakfast every trip. We usually schedule our ADR during the early seating and our experiences have always been very good. We enjoy the food, our servers have been very attentive and the character interaction has been really good.

Take her to the ones she said she'd like to go to.

I am very curious about the solo trips with your kids. If you don't mind, could you tell me how that decision came about, how the kid left behind the first time had it explained and handled, how you made getting ready and coming home talking about it easier for the one who didn't go, but still fun for the one who did?

We did Princess Storybook Lunch and 1900 Park Fare breakfast and both were wonderful! At PSL we saw Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan and Aurora. At 1900 we saw Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger. Good luck deciding, I don't think you can go wrong with your choices!

i'd guess about 9yo

i would go w/the princess breakfast at epcot... if you time it right, you can get in early before the park opens and finish breakfast just in time for opening, therefore not losing any touring time (which you would almost definitely lose if you were to visit a resort restaurant)
