Great thread. I was concerned with the ediquete of character meals as well. We'll be there in Dec and have 4 meals planned. 
My DS (10) and my DD (1.5), I'm hoping I can keep her calm until the characters make it to our table. Especially Mickey, she 
Mickey Mouse. Mickey was also her first word.
