Is there a speacial place for characters that you never really see? For example, Rabbit from "Winnie The Pooh"?

On June 10th, DS 5 and I saw Rabbit at the end of the Animation tour at MGM. It was a nice air conditioned meet and greet place. We got maybe 15 autographs. Mr. and Mrs. Incredible were there as well as Frozone, Tigger, Pooh, Minnie (who we could've had all to ourselves for like 5 minutes), Donald, Chip & Dale, Baloo, Rafki, the Penguin from Mary Poppins, Giddeon and the other bad guy from Pinnochio. There may have been a few others. They rotated the groups so we got in at the end of one group and the beginning of another, so we got a lot all at once. We got 27 autographs that day.

You are so lucky. Last year at MGM after the Animation Tour we just saw Mrs. Incredible. I was hoping for Chicken Little so I was disappointed. We have never seen Rabbit except in a parade and would love a picture with him.

I saw Rabbit in there too. Rabbit is a very rare character. I believe it was probably a training group in there. Normally it is Mr. and Mrs. Incredible and Frozone in the Animation Building.

Oh, I just wanted to add that Chicken Little has been by the Hat recently.

This past week MGM did a great job rotating different characters in front of the hat - numerous different ones (pooh, piglet, tigger, eeyore, chicken little, abby mallard, robin hood, friar tuck, clarisse, chip, dale, stitch, lilo, minnie mouse, pluto, goofy, donald, daisy, and... I think I'm forgetting a couple.

Magic Kingdom had the usual suspects - nobody remotely different for the entire week (that I saw anyway) - terribly dissapointing.

Epcot had numerous characters out - it helped that we ran into a training run at American Adeventure and saw Max, Sheriff of Nottingham, Mr. Penguin, Rabbit, Perla, Suzy, Micky, Minnie, Gideon, Tigger, Goofy, Mr. Smee, and a couple others I'm forgetting at this point

Animal Kingdom - could really add a few characters

Overall I was terribly disappointed with the MK. We usually go the week before Easter and characters are everywhere. Last week, the crowds looked similar in size, but out front there were generally two characters in the middle and maybe one other off to the side. At Easter there are usually two or three in the middle and 8-10 or more around the outside of the shops.

Oh well, we worked at it and eventually found most of the characters we thought we had a legitimate shot at getting and even a couple others (Sheriff, Mr. Penguin Lilo, and Frozone)

This past March ('06) we saw Chicken Little and Abby Mallard at the end of the Animation Tour. That was a treat.

At Animal Kingdom - outside the gates, we saw Turk, a Ducktales flying kind of guy who's name is eluding me and Robin Hood. IN Animal Kingdom, on the way towards Africa, we saw Flik from Bug's Life. In Camp Minnie Mickey, we saw the two bears from Brother Bear RIGHT outside of the areas where you can meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy.

We were able to see Lilo & Stitch at the Ohana Character breakfast.

A friend of mine was just in Disney two weeks ago and was lucky enough to meet Daisy in the Judge's tent in Toontown (MK). How awesome would that be????

Daisy was there almost all day each day we were at the MK this past week.

Many of the usual character locations are changing. At MK there used to be a lot of characters in Town Square, but most of them have moved out. Now it is:

MK- Town Square is Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy/Max, Chip, Dale, ect. Tomorrowland has Buzz, Stitch, and sometimes the chipmunks. Fantasyland has the Alice characters, the Pooh characters, and I believe the Pinocchio characters are there now. Liberty Square has Woody and Jessi, and sometimes some random characters like the Country Bears and Meeko. Frontierland has Brer Fox, and once in awhile Brer Bear and Brer Rabbit. Adventureland has the Peter Pan characters, Aladdin, Genie, the Robin Hood characters, and Timon and Baloo and Rafiki. And Toontown has Mickey in his house, Minnie, Pluto, and Daisy in the Pals room, Goofy, Chip and Dale in the Toon room, and a bunch of princesses in the Storybook room.

MGM- these are a little bit more different. There are Ron Stopable and Kim Possible and the Power Rangers down by the LMA attraction. The Little Einsteins have been out on Mickey Ave. By the Hat have been a host of characters. Last time I was there it was: Chip, Dale, Clarice, Lilo, Stitch, Timon, Rafiki, Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Chicken Little, Abby Mallard, Robin Hood, Friar Tuck. In the Animation Building was the Incredible characters.

Epcot- the VIPs are in Character Connection. In the WS, I saw Belle, Beast, and Aurora in France. I know you can also find Mary Poppins and Pooh characters in UK, Mulan and Mushu in China, Aladdin, Jasmine, and Genie in Morocco (subject to change).

AK- I basically saw a lot of VIPs again. In Camp Minnie- Mickey I saw Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Koda/Kenai. I saw Flik and Stitch and the chipmunks around. Baloo and King Louie and others were in the Oasis.

Oh, I wanted to add something. Disney works the characters differently at MGM. At the Hat at MGM they do a "round robin". This means that the character that is out will not be the character that comes right back out. For example, when I was there last week they went from the 3 chipmunks to Timon and Rafiki to Lilo and Stitch. So you should be aware that if the line is long enough, you may not get up to see the character you got in line for. Just a heads up. And that is the only area that I am aware that does this.

I just hope that Disney starts getting more of the rare characters out, we keep hearing rumors, like Clara Cluck, etc, and then nothing. I was very lucky in the fact when I was down I was able to see Horace and Clarabelle but now they aren't out anymore, so I hope that Disney soon gets these rare characters out and keeps them out. That would be great to see. :)

Confirming Abby Mallard and Chicken Little were at the hat at MGM on June 10th. We also saw Piglet, Pinnochio, Stitch, Tigger and The Evil Queen (Snow White) who I was particularly thrilled to see because I'd never seen her at the parks before.

We've seen Rabbit at Crystal Palace (dinnertime).

At the animation tour we saw Rabbit! Also saw Mr & Mrs Increible, Frozone, Gapetto, Smee, and the two bears from Brother Bear .

Thank You!!!

It really woudl be nice to see if they would work on this and get them out. It would be nice to see. :)

I never usually go out of my way to look for characters in the parks, but I know that the Princesses are usually fairly easy to find, but does anyone know if you can ever get your picture with any of the Princes?? Or are they just in the parades?

At the princess character meals you can get a picture: Cinderella's Royal Table (MK), Princess Storybook (EP-Norway)

Also after Cinderellabration, I've seen the princesses come down to mingle with the crowd.

The easiest, guaranteed, most cost effective way to get a pic with a princess is to visit the Judges Tent in Toontown, there are at least 3 princesses in the princess room at all times.

We saw Pooh, Tigger and Rabbit in the judges tent one evening during our Spring Break trip. No line even!

Princes tend to be harder to find.

Prince Charming is regularly at dinner at 1900 Park Faire.

Sometimes one of them will be at the Toontown Tent.

They're often at special events like MNSSHP & MVMCP.

I've read reports that if Cinderellabration is cancelled, there may be a meet & greet instead.
