Character Help, and one more thing

Hey everybody. Quick questions for you here. To all of you there now or just recently there, are the characters still meeting in their Year of a Million Dreams blue gear, or are they Christmas only now? And if they are meeting in blue and Christmas, where can you find them in the blue?

Second, is the castle crane still up? I kinda thought it was suposed to be down by now, but I saw what appears to be a new picture of it still sitting there.

We only saw the characters in the blue while in Epcot... never saw then in Christmas attire other than in parades.. but we didn't see MIckey and gang in AK (where we found them in Christmas attire on our last trip). As for the crane.. it was up while we were there, although one day it was gone.. next day it was up.. Odd! lol Here are a few photos:

Just back yesterday - YOAMD blue attire only seen in Epcot - other regular attire in other parks with Christmas hats, scarves, etc. sometimes. YES that DARN crane was up both days we went to MK. So much for a nice shot for the holiday card!

Well, it was either use that crane or completely cover the castle with scaffoldings like they did to Disneyland's castle before the 50th anniversary celebration began.

I was wondering if the characters were going to be in Holiday dress or dressed for YOAMD. Thanks for the updates.

we are also just back and saw the same blue attire and crane. I got great shots with Micky and Goofy. the crane was up and down. Friday day it was not up at all, possibly to windy? but it was to cold to get the shots I wanted for our card photo.

Wonderful, thanks for the help. I'll be sure to visit Character Connection for the Dreams characters, and I'll catch the Christmas ones at MVMCP.
And maybe I'll just go take down the crane while I'm there

Hi. Just wanted to add that if you have the Disney Visa you can get pictures with them in the blue outfits at the Disney Visa Character Greeting at Epcot. The picture you get is free

Nice to know that they're in the different outfits there. I'll have to remind DH to stop by when he and DS get to Epcot next Tuesday afternoon for a daddy-son shot.
