Character Dinning???

What are the best Character dinning experiences?
We are taking a small child to Disney in a couple of months.
If you can recommend one at each Park would be nice.

MK : Crystal Palace(Pooh N Friends)
AK: Donalds Breakfastsarus(Donald, Daisy, Pluto , Minnie )
Epcot: Don't think I've been to any! ( There is a princess one in Norway that I hear mentioned often but I have never been to it!)
MGM: Haven't been to any but I hear 50's prime time is good! It's not character it's CM's doing the acting! So don't know if this is what you want for a little child!

Contemporary Resort: Chef mickey's this is a must do for us! ,(Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale ,Goofy,Donald)
Grand Floridian Resort: 1900 Parkfare (Princesses and Prince and fairy godmother , other random characters )
Polynesian Resort: O'Hana Stitch Breakfast

All the Resort character meals that I have listed above are accessible from the resort monorail which you can get from the Magical Kingdom entrance area! Or you can take the ticket and transportation monorail and then catch the resort monorail! These are some I could think of off the top of my head!

We love Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom with Pooh and friends; Epcot has the princess breakfast, lunch or dinner in Norway and there is the character dinner Garden Grill with Mickey, etc., in farmers clothes. AK has the Donald Breakfastsarus. Hollywood Studios has a character breakfast and lunch at Hollywood & Vine with Playhouse Disney characters (we do not like this restaurant at all and after two bad experiences will not go back). As other poster mentioned, there is Chef Mickey's at Contemporary and there is also the character breakfast at the Beach Club at Cape May with Minnie, Goofy and Chip and Dale in beach attire.

We've eaten at Hollywood & Vine with JoJo twice, Feb & Sept 07. We had breakfast and thought it was good. The character interaction was great! My DD4 is asking to go back there this trip. We ate at Tuskerhouse last trip, Feb 08. It was good but the character interaction wasn't as good. This trip, Sept 08 we are trying Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys and Ohana's.

Our favorite is Crystal Palace. It's actually my husband's favorite buffet. He thinks the food is really good there. Plus Pooh & Friends are so cute. (We haven't done a character meal at any of the other parks, so sorry I can't help you there.)
We've done Chef Mickey's and we enjoyed that. I liked 1900 Park Fair with Cinderella. But my oldest daughter prefers the characters that don't talk to her b/c she is very shy.

There is also character dining at the resorts, ie. not in the parks:

MK: Crystal Palace or Cinderella's Round Table (2TS if you're on the DP)
Epcot: Garden Grill for Chip & Dale OR the Norway meal for Princesses
DHS: Play 'n Dine meal at Hollywood and Vine get really high marks for the young ones (bfast or lunch)

Hotel Options:

My 5yo nephew loved Chef Mickey's bfast and we'll do dinner this time.
Cape May at the Beach Club with Goofy for breakfast
Grand Floridian has breakfast and Dinner in 1900 Park Fare
'Ohana has a character meal, but probably save that for an older child

My 2 favorite character meals are Crystal Palace at MK and Cape May at the Beach Club Resort. Honestly, get a really early reservation at Cape May and you'll get TONS of character interaction. Crystal Palace is really nice too, but always seems to be a lot busier than Cape May.

I love my 7:35am breakfasts at Cape May. Goofy and I played tic tac toe 2x last time I went

The only one I haven't seen mentioned by previous posters is Liberty Tree Tavern (MK). It's a good dinner (ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, etc.) & it features Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip & Dale in colonial attire. We have always enjoyed our meals here and the character interaction is pretty good.
