Can anyone give me any feed back on character dinning? We are thinking about going the week of New Years?

Thanks

I LOVE character Dining... i have a DD that is 2 and she loves them... we get to sit down and eat and she gets to see the characters and get their autograph without all the lines... my FAV's are Crystal Palace in MK, Chef Mickey's in CR... i would def do atleast 1.

My family has done several over the years, are you looking for girls or boys. For girls cinderella's castle or 1900 park fare are nice, I have taken my boys to these, but they didn't really care of them. Our favorites are chef mickey's, liberty tree tavern, crystal palace. Another thing I would suggest is go to allearsnet.com and view the menu's of the restaurants.

some have better food than others. Donald's @ Tusker House, 1900 Parke Fair, Crystal Palace, and Chef Mickey have better food.

We have never been there around the holidays but we like them. Some of the food is better in some but the last time we went in '06 we tried to attend to as many as possible. We visited Cape May (breakfast and dinner), Crystal Palace, CRT, Liberty Tree Tavern, Chef Mickey's, and Garden Grill. We really enjoyed every one of them. I thought my then DS-16 would think he was too old for that but he just played along and we had a great time. So much so that he has decided that is what he wants to do for graduation, along with a 3 day cruise.

never had bad food at any of the character dining, but I've might have been too excited to notice how the food was! =)

I would recommend Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort which has Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip , Dale, Pluto & Donald when we were there last August. We also enjoyed Crystal Palace in MK which has Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, & Piglet. Both are buffets & have good food. We have done the breakfast buffets at both.

It's awesome, I've done character dining at numerous Dis parks, WDW & Disneyland resorts. My favorite is located in the Dis Grand Califonian. The breakfast dining there is great. It's called the Storytellers cafe.
