I think I read that Goofy's Kitchen has a character dinner option, is there anywhere else that offers characters at dinner?

Just Goofy. Ariel's used to before WOC. The only lunch option is Ariel's. Goofys breakfast/brunch does go until 1pm on weekends and maybe peak season.

I must say, we absolutely LOVED our first experience at Goofy's for Thanksgiving dinner last week. I wasn't sure what to expect but they had all the yummy traditional food plus all the other dinner fare and it was SO good...at least that was our experience.

The character interactions were awesome...we saw Goofy (of course), Minnie, the Fairy Godmother, Pluto, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Captain Hook (quite a charmer!;), and Chip (or Dale...I always forget who is who!) :) We will definitely be going back!

Just out of curiosity was Goofy "Santa Goofy" or regular. When we made our reservation I was told that during the holidays it would be Santa Goofy but I haven't heard anyone comment about it.

When we were there on Thanksgiving Day he was still dressed as "Chef" Goofy (so not sure if that is changed now or not?), and we only saw him at the entrance when you get your picture with him...which I didn't realize til later they forgot to take a pic with our camera (that they said to place on the counter if we wanted them to take a pic for us...in all the craziness I didn't even think to check) and we didn't buy the pics they offer (thinking I had one on my own camera). So sad, that was the only bummer.:( We got great pics of everyone else though!

They told us the same for our late November trip and I got ridiculously excited about it. For us it was Chef Goofy too though.

There are actually 5 places you can go to for Character Dining!

Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel -Brunch or dinner
Storytellers Café at the Grand Californian Hotel –Breakfast
PCH Grill (Surf’s Up with Mickey and Friends) at Paradise Pier Hotel – Breakfast
Minnie’s Character breakfast at Disneyland’s Plaza Inn–Breakfast
Ariel’s Grotto (Princesses) –Breakfast or lunch

The Disneyland website has more information about the different types of character breakfast and what type of food is served at each one. Here is the link to Disney Dining, http://disneyland.disney.go.com/dining/list/#/character-dining, or you can call them at (714)781-DINE or (714) 781-3463.

Hope this helps!

While these all those listed offer character meals, only Goofy's Kitchen offers dinner like the OP asked about.
