Is there any characters at Charater dining meals for dinner? A friend told me no. If so, are there ones that don't? It is my daughters bday and we wanted to make it special. Thanks so much.

Sure! At 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian, they have the Cinderella's Gala Feast nightly with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother and 2 of the mice Suzy & Perla. At Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary there is Mickey and the gang for dinner (Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale and Minnie). At Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom, they only do a character dinner with Colonial dressed Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and maybe Donald & Daisy. Also at Magic Kingdom, the Crystal Palace does all 3 meals per day with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore. At Epcot, the Garden Grill has farmer Mickey, Pluto, and Chip & Dale. That's all I know of for dinner but you have a lot to choose from! I personally have done the Crystal Palace one and the Garden Grill and they were so cute. I can't wait to take my girls back to the 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey's and LTT!

I had called Disney Dining and the call center rep. told me that Princess Storybook Dining - Restaurant Akershus in Norway (EPCOT) is the one to do! She said that it has a lot of princesses and stuff.

She also said that the Grand Floridan you only get Cinderella and a guest. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help.

::MickeyMo At 1900 in May we had Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the two mice for dinner. ::MinnieMo

Decisions, decisions! Argh! Thanks for the response.

Since 1900 is a buffet, is it at least a decent one?

It far exceeds "DECENT". It's probably one of the nicest, yummiest buffets of them all. You won't go wrong with 1900 Park Faire.

Very nice!

There are many character dinners. If you want princesses, then you can refer to the posts above. Our favorite character dinner is at Liberty Tree Tavern. It's a good meal and truly Disney with Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale.

At park Fare I believe you get Cinderella and prince charming and the mice and the fairy God mother. It's a really good buffet in a really beautiful environment. princess:

We had dinner at the Crystal Palace Buffet, and all the Pooh characters were there. They were so cute, and the food was good too. (DH's favorite ride is Winnie the Pooh, so we usually try to eat wherever they are at least once on our trips. We are just big kids!)

mmmm, the food was really good at 1900 Park Fare. We had the Fairy Godmother (she was in the lobby only ... did not come to tables), Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy and Perla. The Fairy Godmother was actually the best! She spent a lot of time chatting with my kids, and I felt a little rushed with the other characters who came to the table. (I don't think it was so much that the characters were rushing, but that there are all these other tables staring and anxiously awaiting their turn! Too much pressure for me, lol)

Have fun -- it's well worth it!
