ANy suggestions?!?!?

Liberty Tree Tavern, Chef Mickey, and Crystal Palace where a few of my son's favorites. He also liked the Garden Grill at dinner and we also did Sci-Fi(no characters).

Garden Grill in Epcot
Chef Mickey's @ Contemporary
Crystal Palace in MK

Also, Ohana and Whispering Canyon are supposed to be fun, but no characters. My son also loved Coral Reef, looking at all the fish.

Garden Grill! The food is good, the atmosphere is fun, and the character interaction is great. Plus, it's nice to have a family style restaurant instead of a buffet - makes for a more relaxing meal.

Mmmmm......Crystal Palace has the yummiest buffet on Disney property!

We're doing dinner at Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey, Garden Grill, and Liberty Tree TAvern. We have 2 boys who will be 13 and 9 on our next trip. They love the characters and eat very well at the meals!!

This would be my exact suggestion...DS3 loved Chef Mickey's, Ohana's and Coral Reef our last trip and the ones left from above we plan on trying this Dec

Is there anywhere I can find a menu for the garden grill? Also, are there characters there and if so, which ones?

I got the menu from allearsnet.com. When we ate there about 6 years ago there were characters, but I'm not sure if it is still a character meal or which ones are there (sorry:confused3). But I hope the menu helps;)

We always begin our family vacation with dinner at Chef Mickey's. We love it, and my boys are now 17 and 15, and still can't wait to go back!

We did Garden Grill on New Year's Day last year.(it was the only place that had availability the day before...we didn't know about ADRs) The food was good. The characters were Chip & Dale, and Pluto. (I think those were the only three...there might have been more) It's really cool because the Dining Room rotates. I kept looking down at my food to eat and then looked up at something completely different. It doesn't rotate enough for it to bother you though. Part of the rotation overlooks the Living with the Land ride. My 10 year old brother loved the meal. The rest of us liked it too.

Thanks for the information about the Garden Grill. My parents are going with us and my dad is super picky. It looks like the perfect place for him.
We are traveling Sept. 13-20. I called on Monday to get ADR and booked these:
Crystal Palace- dinner
Hollywood and Vine- lunch
SciFi- late lunch
San Angel Restaurant- dinner

We couldn't get in at Liberty Tree so I booked Hollywood & Vine. I have since read some not great reviews about it. Could someone offer me some ideas? I will definitely try to get the Garden Grill but would love to have another TS meal in MK. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
