Character dinner at The Kitchen at Hard Rock?

Has anyone done the character dinner at the kitchen at hard rock? On one page on the universal site, it says the character dinner is Wednesday and Saturday, but on most other sites it says just Saturday. I called universal dining and the agent said yes they have it on Wednesday's, but I'm not convinced. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge? Also, how was the dinner?

the characters rotate between the 3 hotels.
scheduling and characters can change per season.


to get the most accurate information on what date the characters will be at hrh during your stay is to call the hotel direct.


you order off the regular menu.
the characters will be at the Kitchen on specific evenings.

Thanks for the advice. Called concierge and she confirmed it's Wednesday's and Saturday's.

really can't answer that question and name who you will see.

i have seen some of the simpsons and scooby doo characters.

Can't comment on the characters but the food at The Kitchen is pretty good. They also have something for the kids as well as something for the adults so good all around....

rph, pbh, and hrh have a separate section/area available for chlldren dining.
parents can still see the kiddos when they sit in the dining area.

some parents/families let their kiddos eat in the children section as the tables/chairs, etc are geared for them.
and there are some families that have the littles sit with them wherever they sit in the dining room.

it is a nice set up!
