Any suggestions for Character Dining - where and when? And how hard to book?....

Crystal Palace at MK is nice has the Charactor's from Pooh and it's a buffet.
Liberty Tree at MK is also nice--Goofy, Chip, Dale, Minnie, Pluto.
Garden Grill at Epcot has Mickey, Chip, Dale
And Donald's Breakfastasaurus at AK is also nice for Breakfast,

We had done lots of them. Our favorite above all remains Chef Mickey's on the 4th floor of the contemorary hotel. We usually go for dinner, but breakfast is awesome too. The characters there are great and make at least 4 trips each to your table depending on when you go. A close second for us is the Liberty Tree (character dinner only) at the Magic Kingdom. The food is served family style and the characters are dressed in great colonial outfits
Hope this helps!

We went to Chef Mickey's for breakfast and it was great. We had the first breakfast of the day and our son received a lot of attention from the characters. We would definitely go back to Chef Mickey's.

The princess breakfast at Cindrella's Castle is awesome if you have a little girl. They have also added a character lunch, which I think we will try when we go this spring. Be sure to book 60 days in advance with WDW Dining 407-939-3463, the reservations sell out within the first minute of opening, so you have to be on the phone early and you may need to try for several days in a row.

The Crystal Palace has Pooh and friends. I really like the Liberty Tree Tavern. Epcot has Akershus Castle (princesses). That's in Norway. The Grand Floridean has a breakfast that we really enjoyed.

Our favorite is Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary. We did dinner during our last trip, but breakfast is our favorite! Crystal Palace in MK is also very yummy for breakfast!

We went the first year to chef Mickey's and we made reservations 3 weeks before we went because I never knew anything about PS(aka ADRS). We got in and the kids loved it and it's still there best meal and character dinner. We did the breakfast and went about 10:45am.

I love the character dining. I went to all the MK dinings my last trip. I went to CRT 2 times (lunch for my b-day, breakfast was a walk-in). It was fun, especially if you have little girls with you. The characters are all princesses. I love CP! I ate dinner there twice. I love the food, especially the mashed potatoes (I had to ask for the recipe- that's how much I love them :teeth: ). Characters are Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet. I liked LTT. It's like a Thanksgiving atmosphere, and that's what the food's like. The characters are great. The characters are Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Chef Mickey's is also fun. The characters vary from breakfast and dinner.
