I am looking at eating breakfast at a character dining...but looks like they all offer it. I love the princesses, but I am also an adult and no children will be with us. (Even if my niece goes, she's not into anything like this...she's 11) So what do u all recommend that adults would enjoy? Anyone do one without kids?

1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian with Alice, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Winnie and Tigger! OR at Ohana at Polynesian w Mickey, Pluto, LIlo and Stich.

Breakfast at Ohana is our favorite must do breakfast. The characters are great LILO and stitch and Mickey, we also enjoyed cape may breakfast, and then also enjoyed Tuskegee house breakfast.

It was dinner, but I loved eating at the Crystal Palace without kids.

Tusker House Breakfast at Animal Kingdom most definitely. I have no children yet but DH and I eat there every time, great service, atmosphere and food plus the character interaction is wonderful!

Crystal Palace or Tusker House has really good breakfast choices. Love the food at both. But my personal fave would be Crystal Palace for the breakfast lasagna and pooh's puffed french toast. YUMMY! :cloud9:

well, if you really like princesses (regardless if kids will be present), the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (norway, epcot) is great! 7 princess - plus a photo with belle is included.

it is all you can eat but the hot items are served to your table - therefore, the food is freshly made rather than sitting under heat lamps.

it was a great experience for all of us - adults and kids a like.

i also went to the grand floridian to dine with cinderella and friends (it was for dinner, though) - it was fun but not my fave. but that is just my personal taste. it's deemed to be a popular one.

Another vote for tusker house. Best breakfast we had that trip! Loved being in early to animal kingdom. Also had great variety on the buffet.

We loved CP! Of course we have kids but even without (over half our party was adult) it was fun and the food was SOOO good. Bonus if you can score an early ressie before the park opens.

We did not like Tusker House. Too loud.

For princess dining, my hands down favorite is Akershus inside the Norway pavilion. You will enter and have your photo made with one of the princesses (most often is Belle in her lovely yellow dress). Then, you will be shown to your table in the lovely dining room. You will start out by going to a cold appetizer buffet that is all you can eat. It has assorted salads, cheeses, and meats. I loved the shrimp salad and the caramelized goat cheese, but they have less exotic options, as well, like Muenster and salami. Then, you will order your entree. My husband had the meatloaf and I had the salmon. Both were amazing, though I think I preferred his. Would get both again, though. While you dine, various princesses come around to your table and visit with you. On our trip, we got the A-Team of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Ariel. They are kind and visit with the adults just as much as the children. Oh, and the desserts are brought out family style. We had a chocolate mousse (I'm not a chocolate fan, but everyone else loved it), apple cake (amazing), and rice pudding (never liked rice pudding until this meal). I highly recommend it for princess dining - whether you have children or not. The exotic foods make it all the more fun.

For character breakfast, I would recommend Ohana. I had a terrible time with Tusker House and no one in our party said that they would want to go back. Ohana was exactly the opposite. Fantastic atmosphere, better food, and wonderful character interaction. The food is served family style so, unlike Tusker House, you don't have to worry about missing a character because you are at a buffet table. Garden Grill is also nice for this. Do know that these are not princess dining, though.

I would love to dine with a Princess! If that's what you want to do then go! Disney Magic has no age. I'd definitely head to Norway.

I want to go there for breakfast but my 12 year old would not go. I figured he would love to just look at a pretty princess!

I talked my boys into dining at the castle with me this trip. I'm sure they'll roll their eyes at the princesses or get all giggly. :)
Now my husband, on the other hand-I had NO problem talking him into it. ;)
I can't WAIT to eat in the castle!!!! I'll be there in 13 days!
