I remember reading somewhere that you can go to a character breakfast and actually have the characters sit with you while you eat. I know it is a lot but we are interested in sitting with chip and Dale for breakfast. Is this the same as the storyteller breakfast or is it completely different? Has anyone done a breakfast like this and where can I find more info? Thanks in advance!

I don't think you can actually pay to have characters sit with you while you eat, but you do get to interact with many characters at any of the character meals............. Chip and Dale are at Minnie's, Storyteller's, and Goofy's.

I've never heard of that & never seen it at all the character meals we've done. The characters come to your table & interact with you during your meal & depending on how busy it is.....sometimes they make repeat performances. They do little dances & games at these meals for the kids to join in as well.

Thanks for the info! Do u know the difference btw character dining and premium character dining? When you go to book online either is an option, I'm thinking premium dining is the breakfasts at storytellers or the woc dinners at ariels but I'm not entirely sure.:goodvibes

Here is the info. on what is considered the premium character dining. (The WOC dinner at Ariel's that you mentioned is not a character meal....premium or regular). Dinner at Goofy's costs more than brunch, so I'm not sure how that works with the vouchers. Hopefully someone else can answer that for you if you're interested in Goofy's Kitchen.

"Disneyland Premium Character Dining - This voucher allows you to attend either Ariel's Disney Princess Celebration Character Lunch at Ariel’s Grotto in Disney’s California Adventure or the Character Brunch/Dinner Buffet at Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel."

I've never had the characters actually sit with us for an entire meal. There are some meals where they spend more time with you than others though.

We've done Ariel's twice for lunch and I've hated it each time (my children love it though)--part of the reason I dislike it is because we pay SO much money and the princesses spend hardly any time at the tables.

At Minnie and Friends, on the other hand, the characters spend tons of time with us. Last time, was especially fun because Captain Hook was interacting a lot with me, not just with the children. :) He probably visited our table five or six times and at one point had me sitting on his lap. I had a lot of fun with him--he made my meal extra fun. I attempted to take his sword at one point, which caused him to challenge my husband to a duel--that was fantastic and my children LOVED it! We ran into him (the same person inside the suit) an hour or so later) in the park and he remembered us and continued the charade. :)

I ditto the Minnie and Friends breakfast. We had a ton of fun at Storyteller's Cafe, but Minnie's was amazing with the characters. Your best bet for a lot of time with the characters is to go in on a MM and then head straight over. It was practically empty in there and we had tons of time with each of the characters. Tigger even hung out at our table for about 5 mins and played a game with my son...

You can see how empty the restaurant was (and how much my son was digging it ;) )

I am interested in doing Minnie & Friends, but wish we cold get in for breakfast b4 MM starts.
