I know Disney do it but does Universal or IOA do character breakfasts? My son likes Spiderman I like the X women. Any ideas?

yes universal has character dining at the hotels and character breakfast in the parks.

i believe the info is in the above stickies.

if not, go to the universalorlando.com site and go to dining section.

We went to the Spiderman breakfast last Feb. It was WONDERFUL. My Ds was 5 at the time. Even my DD 6 at the time (who doesn't like superheros) enjoyed herself . All of the characters spend a lot of time at the table(coming back a second time) and the Manager came over several times to make sure everything was good and to take several pictures with our camera. My son dressed in his Spiderman costume and my DH had a Punisher shirt on, so he set up differant poses where the 2 Spidermen were defeating the Punisher! We are going back in Sept and will be doing it again. I can't say enough about this. I have some really great pictures, here are some of them

It is at Islands of Adventure. The breakfast is $17.95 for Adults and $11.95 for children and is at Adventure's Confisco Grille ( very easy to find. I think it is on your right hand side, a couple of doors down after you enter the park). The phone number to book is 407-224-4012. We were there before opened and The Cat in the hat came outside and played with the kids while we were waiting. When they opened, we were the first ones in. There is a staircase on your left hand side after you enter and there was Spiderman, on the railing! We then went in and there was a buffet. We got started on the food but the characters were there pretty quick. As I mentioned they came back a few times. Thing One and Thing Two were very funny!

I am really trying to decide about doing this. Last year at Disney we did several character meals and the kids really enjoyed then but i would say 90% of them were geared toward my DD. I think my son would like Spiderman but :confused3 He isnt a huge Spiderman fan really. He a Curious George fan.

Thing 1 & 2 are also there and great!
my boys loved the characters.
they were too excited with talking with them and watching them to really eat their food.

we had come from a week at disney and they were used to characters not talking or interacting with them.

they were taken back that the characters at Universal really talked to them!

there is a curious george over at fieval area which is by ET at the studio side

My daughter is not a superhero fan at all and only knew about Cat in the Hat and Thing One and Two slightly before we went and she had a blast. The charaters are very entertaining. We did several character breakfasts at Disney before we went to the Spiderman one. I am a HUGE DISNEY FAN and love the princesses and everything Disney but i have to say this was one of the best character meals we have done.

the interaction of spider man at that breakfast is the best character interaction i have ever seen. incredible performance by spiderman.
