Hi guys,

We're off to WDW in Feb 09, could someone please remind me, at what point can I book a couple of character meals??

And what's the phone number? - apologies, you'd think I would remember from last time but I'm afraid not :lmao:

Hi Ali,

Number is 001-407-939-3463 and you can book 180 days in advance of the date in question.

Thanks for that Johnny, probably going to book two character meals this time, so I guess we'd better get deciding

Actually, at the moment you cannot strictly book 180 days in advance. There are some changes being made to the Advance Dining process which are detailed below:

NEW DINING RESERVATION SYSTEM IN THE WORKS

Disney will begin implementing a new reservation system that combines dining, recreation and tour bookings.

The conversion will start on July 21, 2008 and is expected to be functioning on October 24. While this is taking place, the latest dining reservation date which can be booked in advance is January 25, 2009. Once the new system is operating, it will revert to the 180 day Advance Dining Reservation window.

The exceptions to the shortened ADR booking window are Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey's and Victoria & Albert's.

So it looks as though you should be able to make your ADRs on October 24th as long as the new system is functioning by then.

I read on the dining board as there are computer issues with the new system coming in you can currently book until Feb 22nd or thereabouts.

i would recommend chef mickeys and crystal palace, avoid the liberty tree tavern like the plague it was awful, pop over to the restaurant boards, they are very informative

Thanks guys :goodvibes

All I know at the moment is, we want to have lunch with the Princesses and Mickey/Minnie.....

We would like to have one of those meals on our first full day at WDW and then I'll have to have a think about our second meal as to when we'll have that......

Don't like too much planning, I guess that's why I keep putting the task off :lmao:

Thanks again,

Ali :goodvibes
