i have more than once!

it's so much fun for me to meet characters, but i always am embarrassed asking people to take a photo for me. In
Disneyland, I ate at Goofy's Kitchen, and my table neighbors were more than happy and even offered to take the pictures for me every time, i found so kind of them! and then I also ate at Ariel's Grotto (MY FAVORITE as far as food is concerned! that pasta is amazing!) they have these men dressed as footmen and one always ended up being relatively close to my table, and he was like if you need any photos taken for you, let me know. As far as in WDW, i've eaten at 1900 Park Fare, and that place is so big and busy, you'd probably have to ask someone to take a photo for you, and I also ate in Crystal Palace and the woman who made sure my diet coke glass was never empty was aware when characters were near to be there to take a photo for me which i found so accommodating! i kind of feel it depends on where you eat because some places are more timed with their characters (Cinderella's Royal Table, Ariel's Grotto and Crystal Palace are pretty well with guestimating your timing between characters) whereas 1900 Park Fare (or any meal with the Mad Hatter for that matter) is harder to predict, or Goofy's Kitchen i didn't realize just how many characters were at my meal - even on my way out i was spotting new characters added to the mix (Goofy has a LOT of friends apparently!) but anyway i say if you're on the fence, definitely jump over to the good side and make that reservation! character dining is such a fun thing, and whats great about going solo is if you want to stay there for a whole hour, no one will be across from you kicking you under the table to go LOL
