We are taking a family trip in April and will have a 3 year old boy in our group and we would like to do a character breakfast for him one morning. I've done the character breakfast at Chef Mickey's before and it was a good time but it was just adults in our group so I don't have a kid's perspective. What character breakfasts have your little ones enjoyed and which would you recommend? I guess it doesn't have to be breakfast either, which character meal should we try? Thanks in advance!

We loved the character breakfast at Ohanas with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. Crystal palace in MK was also great. Good food and good interaction at both.

We have hit most of them. DS 5 and DD 3
CM-the characters make it around in a timely fashion
CP-the character interaction was fine, but we ater there 3 times (2 b, 1 l) and each time we had to wait at least 10-15 minutes after we were ready to leave to wait for that last character. We enjoyed the breakfast though.
TH-the food was good, but the seating in the resturant itself is very close/cramped. It is the only place to have a meal with Daisy.
CRT- is a once in a life time experience...don't know how cool it would be for a 3 yo boy...our 5 yo "suffered" through it for his lil sis
PSB-was lunch with greally good food, but again not sure how much it would interest your DS.
Hollywood n Vine-we had 11:00 ADRs...they were just changing over from breakfast. The food was good--much better than expected by reviews. My kids aren't really into Lil einstines, but had a blast. The characters came at least twice and they did their little show and dance several times...I attribute this to the time we came not being filled with ppl yet.
O'Hana-the character interaction was great (early ADRs)...food was typical breakfast fare.

Our kids favorites of the ones we did with them were:

1. Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends
2. Minnie's Menehue Character Breakfast with Goofy, Chip & Dale and Pluto. Unfortunately, they changed this to Lilo and Stich and we've never gone back--kids didn't care for Lilo and Stitch as they were older and we particularly don't like Lilo and Stitch.
3. Chef Mickey's -- for the standard group
4. Garden Grill

We've been to Crystal Palace multiple times and we love it - great atmosphere and character interaction. We've also been to Chef Mickey's. We didn't like CM as much. Last time, we tried Donald's Breakfast and had a terrible experience with the characters. I am hoping that the location change has changed the experience.

Crystal Palace gets my vote for breakfast or dinner. 3 years old seems a good age for the characters there.

You didn't say where you are staying. The Beach Club has a great breakfast at Cape May Cafe if you are in the Epcot area.

The Garden Grill is a great choice for dinner. It is a little quieter and not as rowdy as Chef Mickey's.

I like the Garden Grill a lot. The way the booths are configured makes the experience seem a lot more private -- like the characters are just there to see you.

Crystal palace in MK, donalds at tuskerhouse AK or chef mickeys in the contemporary. There is also Cinderellas royal table for breakfast if he likes the princess face characters (they love the little boys) also akserhus in Norway breakfast is suppost to be wonderful -alsp princessesI vote for chef mickeys or tusker house out of all of these good choices though! Have fun
