We are planning a few character dining experiences for our trip next September. Last month, we did all of our character meals at supper, except for breakfast our 1st morning at O'hana's. Please give me your opinion on which meal is best at the following restaurants:

Akershus (B, L, or D?)
Crystal Palace (B, L, or D?)

I will be calling to get CRT breakfast ressies at the 180 day mark. We are there for 10 nights, so I am hoping to score this one. We will also be doing O'hana's breakfast again, since my children loved it so much.

Thanks for the advice!

we did the crystal palace for dinner and its a fun buffet dinner for the kids with a nice range of food. when we where there they also did a conga line round the resturaunt with the children, but adults can join as we are just big kids at heart! which adds a nice touch. Each of the characters take turns to also stand at the buffet section as an extra for the children in addition to the table visits.. couldn't say about akershaus as haven't done character meal there only a non-character meal. the food was still nice though

We loved Akershus for breakfast! It's yummy--they bring the hot food (eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes) to your table and are happy to give you refills and there is a cold food bar (pastries, fruit, cheese, etc). The princesses spent a good amount of time at the table visiting with us. We have eaten at Crystal Palace for all 3 meals and have enjoyed them all (although breakfast is my favorite, but, I am a breakfast person). There is a large range of food choices at all of the meals and the characters are great :)

You can't go wrong with either one. If you're into Pooh (and really, who isn't) go for CP. If you want princesses (and what little boy doesn't) then it's the Princess Breakfast for you.

The Crystal Palace is a must do!!! The energy is great, the buffet is surorisingly good with helthy options. The kids' buffet is great too. Plus, I always take an apple or two for later in the day at the parks. I like the lunch buffet best. You can schedule a late lunch (2:30 ish) and still be pretty full until a light snack or CS meal for dinner. Have a great time at WDW!!

Crystal Palace has always been a must-do for my family but in April we were very disappointed! Idk if it was the time we went (2ish) but the food wasn't fresh and the overall quality seemed to have declined. In December we have 5 character meals booked but we won't be going back to CP.

We've tried Akershus for both dinner and breakfast and very much preferred the breakfast over the dinner. We are not very adventurous eaters and didn't care much for our dinner. But breakfast is standard breakfast food and it was delicious! Crystal Palace we've done for lunch and dinner and both were very good. The character interaction was the same for both and the foods were similar too. If you're on the dining plan, I'd probably pick a lunch or dinner just to get a little more value out of the plan.

We really enjoyed the breakfast. Mary Poppins was even outside with no lines to meet her, a nice added bonus.(she was not inside)
Inside we got a picture with Belle, then Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, Aurora, and Mulan came around for visits!
