They havent been before and thinking about going to a character brekkie...any recommendations on which one and the best times, and HOW TO BOOK PLEASE.

Finally, my daughter is a big Spiderman and barney fan and was wondering if anyone knew how to book brekkies with Universal.

Hope u can help

Thanks

Welcome to the DIS London Calling :)

I don't know anything about Universal Character Breakfast's but I am sure someone will be able to help :)

Hi, there is a breakfast with spiderman at islands of adventure, there are other characters too, it seems to be cat in the hat and thing 1&2. it costs $15.95 for adults and $9.99 for kids (not sure of age limit so, yours might be free) the phone number is 407-224-4012, you can book 30 days before.
I posted a thread on the universal board and the breakfast got great reviews. All the info is on the universal orlando website. Dont think there is any breakfast with Barney, although you can meet barney and the others at the barney show at universal.

The only thing i would say is dont book it for early in the holiday until your kids are used to the characters, my DD was 4 when we went to DLP, she talked about meeting everyone and how she couldn,t wait but, when we walked into the hotel and saw goofy, she FREAkED!. She was very nervous of them for the first day or two but, we had a great character breakfast on the last day.
Hope it helps. :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Thank you Claire, Ill call them straight away, although I couldnt see anything on their website.

I hadnt realised their was a Universal page so will check that out too,

thanks

You'll find all the info you need on Character Breakfasts and how to go about booking Priority Seating arrangements over at www.allearsnet.com

It depends what characters they like - you can vary on the basis of Mickey and friends, the Princesses or Pooh and friends - there is something for everyone. Bear in mind you can do breakfasts in the resort hotels as well as the parks.

Thanks for that, just been checking the Universal threads and have decided to definitelty go for the Spiderman brekkie. Now need to choose Disney one, are there character breakfasts at the All Star Movies do you know ?

No character breakfasts at All Stars as they don't have a restaurant. There is a very good one at 1900 Park Fayre (Grand Floridian) and one that many like (though not me I'm afraid) at Chef Mickeys (Contemporary). There are some in the parks as well.

No there aren't - ASMo only has a food court. For a while there where various character meet and greets at the hotels but they did away with this when they introduced the extra magic hours at the parks.

the list of breakfasts is here: http://www.allearsnet.com/din/cb.htm

CRT is notoriously difficult to get (there are as many strategies for phoning 90 days in advance to get this as there are strategies for the parks!!)

Hi just thought i would let you know that I have reserved the spidey breakfast for our trip. When I phoned up I was told that we would have to pay for my 2 yr old and you also have to leave your credit card details with them !! After reserving various places at disney I was not expecting this so it was a mad dash to find my purse. I was advised that if we did not cancel 24 hours in advance there would be a 20 usd charge made to my cc.
Just thought I would warn others that this is what universal do.
Would also be very interested to hear if you had to pay for your children - I dont have a problem paying for him as he is a spidey fan just like his big brothers but it did seem a little strange as he is hardly going to eat much !! :love1:
