where is a good breakfast place with characters? (Besides for cape may - we loved it but want to try something new) THanks! Prefer one at a hotel not at one of the parks?
If you're on a budget (we missed out on Chef Mickey's and couldn't afford GF), Tusker House at AK is an excellent choice. Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy were there along with some great food on the buffet. Whatever you decide, have a great time!

We loved our character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian Hotel. The food was delicious and we took pictures with a bunch of characters: Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter (he's sooo funny), Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Mary Poppins.
3 years ago we started a new tradition. On our last day (non-park) we go to a breakfast buffet for a late breakfast. Lasy year we did 'Ohana and it was excellent. We had an 11 a.m. ADR (last seating) This year we have an 11:50 ADR (12 last seating).
The previous 2 years we had breakfast at PF. Also very good. Last year we would have gone back but it was being rehabbed. So we went with 'Ohana and we're glad we did.
For us, it's a wonderful end to our trip. We've already checked out of our room and have most of the day left before we have to leave for MCO. The advantage of having a late seating is the rooms are so full (and noisy) and the characters come around more than once (this is not the case at PSB though).
You can't go wrong with either of these. Have fun!
