Character Breakfasts in July

I know, because of the blog post from last month, that they're making changes to the character dining at all of the Disney hotels. Is this why they haven't made breakfasts available for reservations starting July 1? I can't even suggest breakfast at the PCH Grill on 7/2, and Storytellers and Goofy's Kitchen, while I can pick breakfast, doesn't have any times available. I can book for the last day in June, though, and Plaza Inn is available, as well. Right now, I have Surf's Up booked for 6/30 because my friend's daughter adores Stitch and desperately wants to meet him. We'd prefer to book it for 7/2, though, because that's our last day and the breakfast is a big surprise that we want to end with. Plus we already have the BB F! package booked on 6/30 and two big event meals seems like a lot for one day, especially since we're doing the WOC Dessert Party the night before.

We'd be fine doing Surf's Up with Donald and Daisy rather than Mickey as long as Stitch is still there (which the blog post assured that he would be). I just really want the reservations to open up so I can put the last piece of our girls' trip puzzle together. This is so aggravating!

That's weird, I just booked Storyteller's for July 3rd the other day, the day it became available! That is one of the character breakfasts that is changing as well!

Just went on again, I show Storyteller's, Plaza Inn on July 3rd and forward, but nothing on the 2nd. Try a different day!

Hmm. Now Goofy's is available for breakfast on the 2nd. It was not when I posted that 90 minutes ago. Still no breakfast at all at PCH. Maybe it'll show up in a bit. Availability at Goofy's is encouraging.

I called Disney Dining and the CM told me Disney as not finalized the plans for the changes at PCH and Storytellers. The CM told me that PCH grill would be Donald and friends, and was not able to say Stich is going to be there, Her exact words, were Stich went back to Hawaii to be with Lilo. And Storytellers would be Mickey and friends. The CM told me to check the app or website daily for those reservations.

Hmm. The blog post that announced the changes stated specifically that Stitch would remain at Surf's Up. Maybe I'd better just keep the 6/30 reservation to be on the safe side. It would be extremely disappointing to miss Stitch.

It looks like Storytellers open up and still states critter breakfast. The PCH grill is not available for breakfast untii the next week!!

Well, breakfast now appears as an option for PCH Grill for the day we want, but there is no availability. I guess I'll just keep trying. So it'll still be Mickey that day - that's good. I'd prefer Mickey to Donald and Daisy anyway.

PCH grill is opened up for the first week in July for character breakfast!! Yeah. One more time for Surf Up breakfast with Mickey!!

Yep. Finally got my 10:50 am yesterday morning. All the pieces are in place. Whew!

This is kind of off topic... Does the hotel let people park at the hotel lot of they have a bfast reservation? We'll have just checked out of an off site hotel that day. So I wonder if we could drive or if we'd have to walk.
