Do they have this on the 7 night Magic? or just the Fantasy?

I have sailed the Fantasy 3 times, the Dream 3 times and the Wonder once... so lost with the Magic, lol.

Just a heads up that on the Wonder the characters are now the Disney Jr characters and Mickey. In the past it was Mickey, Minnie, Chip/Dale, and Pluto.

In my experience it's only offered on those cruises of 7 nights and longer that have at least 3 sea days (or 2 sea days & one late port arrival date). Of course, that's when they were assigned everyone onboard to a specific breakfast. Don't know for sure about the 3 sea day minimum thing, but pretty sure it's still only on those cruises of 7 nights and longer.

This summer on the Magic through Norway - 7 nights -- there was no character breakfast....

So on the Wonder -- like on the summer 7 night Alaska cruises -- there WAS a character breakfast? And which Disney Jr. Characters were there w/Mickey? thx

Did you have lots of ports? Lots of ports equals no character breakfast. They want everyone to have a turn if they have it.

I was on the Wonder in November and I am pretty sure the characters at the breakfast were Mickey, Doc McStuffins, Jake, and Sofia. Maybe someone who has been on the Magic lately can chime in.

Sorry if these have been asked already, do you need reservations for a character breakfast, and is there an extra charge?

Look at your navigator on first day it will tell you where to reserve your character breakfast. First come first serve. No extra charge.

As long as you go get tickets when you board, is it pretty much a guarantee you will get them, or do they only give a limited number?

We were a bit disappointed with this the last time we did it on the wonder. Disney jr. Characters.

On the Fantasy, the line was so long. I know alot of people put that on their comment cards. If you have linked rooms, only one person has to go and can get for all the linked rooms. I am not sure about the breakfast but we did a Christmas cruise and they ran out of tickets for the gingerbread house making. That was crazy in my mind, just schedule another one. The restaurant wasn't full when we did it, they could easily of accommodated several more families.

We had 2 full sea days, so i don't think that was the reason. Our server said they only had it on cruises above 7 nights. As this was our first 7 nighter (our other DCL cruises were 10+), I just assumed this was the case. So it's nice to think they have it in Alaska, even if it's with Disney Jr. characters.

No, they didn't do the character breakfast on the European/TransAtlantic cruises last year.

It's typically on cruises of 7 nights and longer. It used to matter, also, if there were at least 3 sea days on the itinerary as that's what they needed to schedule everyone for the Character breakfast. With the new ticketed event, I don't think it's a critical that they have 3 sea days.

They did have it on the Transatlantic last year (2015). We had tickets to the character breakfast the same day we had a Palo brunch booked. So I went to the breakfast and ate nothing, but my kids got to eat and take photos with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto. I was surprised there were only 4 characters instead of 5.

They didn't have it on the Northern European or Fjords cruises though.

I agree with you that it was on TransAtlantic crossings the other poster is incorrect, but I was on a Northern Europe Baltic cruise and you can see from my prior posts of the menu and the navigator we did have it.

Problem is some other posts here are by posters who haven't been on these cruises.

Full photos and a report on the CB is in my trip report link below.
