Can you choose which restaurant you eat in I have read people eating in Inventions and Cafe Mickey. We would love to eat at Inventions but just dont think we can afford an evening meal and considering breakfast here. Will it be possible to request it or will we just eat what ever restaurant they are using at that day?

they are 2 completely different things. The "official" character breakfast is at Cafe Mickey. Thats the one in the brochure, the one you can book in advance and add to your package. The characters come to you at your table at Cafe Mickey breakfast.

Breakfast in Inventions you can pay for at the Disneyland Hotel. There is no need to book, you just go and tell them you want to have breakfast and you are not a guest at the hotel. The cost is 14 euros per adult, 6 euros per child. The characters are situated just outside the restaurant (they don't come in and go around each table) so you can meet them before you go in for breakfast, and then again when you come out :).

The choice of foods is much better at Inventions for breakfast, compared to Cafe Mickey.

Sorry to hijack the post, but please could you tell me what do you get for breakfast at Inventions?

Thanks

you know I can't even remember it all, there was so much choice :). The usual cereals, breads, croissants etc, plus premium cold meats and cheeses, pancakes, beautiful mini raisin swirls, salmon, fresh fruit salad, an amazing hot plate selection including proper scrambled eggs, tomatoes, beans, streaky crisp bacon, sausages, cubed potatoes, and more. Fresh fruit juices (several flavours), milk, and proper tea/coffee/hot chocolate served at your table from pots by your waiter.

Bumping this.

Found it by googling and I'm sooo pleased.

My favourite thing about DLH was the amazing breakfast!

The hotel costs £1400 more for our stay than NPB and to be honest it was the breakfast I'd miss most.

So now even if we want this breakfast every day it'll only be 90€ for the whole trip. :) Still a huge saving. And doing EMH then popping in for a lovely breakfast will be heaven.

Yaaaaay.

I know - I'm getting hungry reading back all the food thats available in Inventions for breakfast :goodvibes. We'll definitely be doing this again in June.

Another who loves the DLH breakfast (you can't beat the park view when it is just waking up :goodvibes). I was keen to do this if we'd stayed at the SL but as we went for the HNY in the end I'm not sure how much we *need* to do this now :confused3.

I'm sure HNY won't be a patch on the DLH breakfast but it does serve some hot things so we might be OK.

Does anyone know if HNY serves little pancakes like DLH does? My DDs love them with maple syrup and as we are on holiday I let them indulge :goodvibes

I'm also guessing HNY doesn't do soft boiled eggs like the DLH does :confused3....

See, I'm talking myself into a DLH breakfast one day again :rotfl2:.

No pancakes on buffet but you can order and pay for 6.90 xxx

Thanks Tinks - we might do that for the DDs one day then - you just literally order them at the table?

Yes I think so they was plenty of staff around to ask, I saw the information for it on tge buffet though x
