Character Breakfast?

Hello,

My family and I will be having a character breakfast at Confisco's Grill in IOA and was wondering if anyone has a review on the food and character experience? Is it a buffet or a sit-down service? Also, is it worth the upfront price?

It is a buffet, the food is okay BUT the character interaction is AMAZING!!!! It is well worth the up front price our boys 4 & 2 1/2 LOVED every second of it!!! Not crowded at all Spider Man, Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 & Thing 2 were there. Each character spends a great deal of time with your children, photos autographs it is fun for all!!

Really? No OJ w/breakfast buffett? Kinda odd? What r the drink options with the buffett (more for kids I guess cause I'll do coffee & water )

I'll sconed that! The food is just ok but the characters are awesome!
Especially Spiderman, because he talks. We went in Nov and there were hardly anyone in the restaurant and Spidey spent tons of time with my boys
They still talk about it, and he even taught them a secret handshake

I say go, your kids will have a blast!

I don't think the Studios has a breakfast any longer. I remember a Simpsons breakfast last year but that was cancelled due to poor attendance.

Maybe I'm the only one with a negative experience??
We did this 2 yrs ago. I think the reason our experience wasn't so good was due to where we sat. The main room would've been so much better, that's mostly where the characters stayed. They put us in a separate room, off towards the side. By the time we had finished our meal, not a single character had come our way! My DD was so disappointed. I told our server that we were finished, but we had yet to be visited by any of the characters. Immediately he went over to where the characters were, whispered something and they all came over and made a big fuss. Gave the server a nice tip for doing that for us. The food was just "ok" as everyone else stated. Had we sat somewhere else, I think I would have something more positive to say.
Get a good seat!

Bummer My wife's grandchildren live in England they wouldn't know any of the marvel Superheroes and might be vaguely familiar at best with Thing 1 and Thing 2.

The last time I was at a character breakfast at Universal we also went to a character breakfast on the Empress Lilly, so it's been a while

It will be different characters.
It was for us.

Spiderman, thing 1 & 2 and others will be at the park breakfast.

i had Scooby and others at the hotel dinner.
At HRH one year, they had a magician and his act for the "character" dinner.

The spiderman breakfast was amazing. We had so much character interaction. This was one on the best character meals that I have ever done!!! We really didn't eat that much because the whole time that we were there we had characters at our table. These are just a very few of the pictures that I took.
