When do we find out which day we're scheduled for the character breakfast? Is it noted on the dining ticket that will be in our stateroom, or will our wait staff let us know at dinner the first night?
You can actually find out when you first checkin at port. All you need to know is your dining rotation. The char brkfst is assigned according to your dining. I have it written down at home.
When Im at Palos signing up for brunch Im taking a list of when our char brkfst will be.
You must know something I don't!! Can you get your rotation before check-in or at check-in? My recollection of my 3-day Wonder trip last year is that we didn't get the rotation until we got to our stateroom and got the ticket.....is perhaps my memory bad? Do you get the ticket with your rotation on it when you actually check in?
Does the ticket tell when your scheduled for the character breakfast? I want to know when my character breakfast before I make the rush for reservations....don't want a character breakfast and champaigne brunch on the same day.
Are you on the 7day? From what Ive been reading your dining rotation is printed on the KTTW card which is given to you when you checkin at port. And based on the dining rotation is when your char breakfast will be. Someone here in DIS land must have the rotation (it's written down at home and Im at work). Ive heard that your servers also give you a ticket at your first dinner and/or there will be tickets in our rooms. But there is a way to know ahead of time depending on dining rotation.
Unless they've changed it recently, the character breakfast is ONLY availble on the 7 night (both east and west) we were on the 4 night Wonder Cruise last year and no character bfast, no lobster, no extra special anything.
We saw Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip & Dale, and Goofy. It was so rushed though that our kids really didn't enjoy it. It seems like the photographers are the ones running the characters and got uppity if we asked to take our own pictures.
We really enjoyed it and thought it was very well done--took lots of pictures and the photographers didn't seem to mind at all.
Also, ditto what was mentioned above--if you go to WDW first, your rotation is not printed on your KTTW card. My card became demagnetized during the cruise, and I was surprised to see that the new card I got at Guest Services DID have our rotation printed on it.
