Trying to decide where to go for a character breakfast. Have narrowed it down to O'hana and Cape May Cafe. Here are a few questions:

1. What is the cost of each?
2. What characters are at each?
3. We the buffet similar?

I would choose Cape MAy hands down. The price is similar. Cape MAy is a buffet, Ohana is family style with no choices. Better character interaction at Cape May as well. The only way I'd choose Ohana is for convenience, if you happen to like Stitch or you are determined to see MIckey.

I am a huge fan of O'hana's! It is our only "must-do" meal on every trip. We love the food - and I like that it is served family style (I am not a big buffet fan plus you don't have to worry about missing character interaction while up at the buffet). The characters are Lilo, Stitch, Mickey & Pluto. Also, the atmosphere at the Poly is great. I've never been to Cape May so can't speak to that one.

Forgot to add - although it is family style, it is "all you care to eat" and they serve a variety of foods...a fabulous platter of fruit, eggs, sausage, potatoes, bacon, breakfast breads/pastries....

We prefer Ohana. We like the fact that it's NOT a buffet so you don't have to worry about missing the characters when you go up to the buffet line. The food has always been great. We love the lilikoi juice! It's also convenient if you are spending that day at MK or Epcot since you are on the monorail.

This is a tough choice, theyre both pretty good. I think i like ohana a bit more because of the beautiful and relaxed atmosphere....and because the food comes to you for a change! You can sit and relax and eat as much as you want. Whereas with buffets, we all know how stressful it can be trying to time it right between characters. The food at ohana is pretty good. My faves are the pineapple bread and the signature juice! Characters are great. Stitch is a riot. We didnt become stitch fans until we went to ohana. Mickey & Pluto are great too and they really take their time with you.

Cape May is quieter than most buffets, and the selection is wonderful. I dont think you can go wrong with either place.

Tough choice, these two are must do's for us and are our favourites. But I think if we could choose just one it would be Ohana, we prefer the food at Ohana a bit more and it's nice to have the food brought to you rather than have to keep getting up from the table.

But really, as others have mentioned, you can't go wrong with either :thumbsup2
