First, let me say I have only been on the board a couple of days and WOW what a helpful place. So nice to join a community where people don't bash the new guy.

Well, I am trying to decide between meal plan and no meal plan. I have already backed off deluxe so now it's the standard dining plan (1 snack, 1 quick, 1 table) versus doing it on our own.

I'm trying to project what we'd spend on our own but am having trouble with the character breakfasts. I know they would cost 2 table service credits for each person, but cannot seem to find the cash cost for a character breakfast (adult and child costs). For example, Cinderella's royal table says $36-$59....not sure what that means. Is $36 child and $59 adult?

Any advice is appreciated. THANKS!

Hi, character breakfasts are 1 TS each except cinderella's royal table which is 2.

If you look at allears.net it has all the menus and pricing.

WOW they're only 1 TS each? I could have sworn all the character breakfasts were 2 TS. That's good to know it's only Cinderella's Table.

Not all character dining will cost you 2 credits...I know Cinderella's Royal Table is 2 credits. For breakfast, there are a few choices:
MK - Crystal Palace $22.99 adults; Children $12.99
Epcot-Akershus $39.40 for adults and $23.42 for children
HS- Hollywood & Vine Adults: $26.99; Children (3 - 9) $14.99
AK-Tusker $24.49 (10+) and $10.99
Polynesian- Ohana's Adults $20.99 Children 3-9 $11.99
Grand Floridian- 1900 Park Fare Adults $22.36 - Children $12.77
Contemporary Resort- Chef Mickey's $26.62 for Adults, $13.99 for Children
Beach Club- Cape May Adults $26.99 Children Ages 3-9 $12.99

Seasonal pricing (thanksgiving/Christmas...add $4/$2

Enjoy!

Yep, as mentioned, the only character meal that's 2 credits is CRT. The rest are just one.

The prices on the Disney website are a bit misleading and confusing. They place each restaurant into a "bucket" based on the average adult meal cost. This bucket is that range you see ($36-$59). It's denoted by the number of dollar signs shown ($$$). This range is not specific to the restaurant, rather is representative of where that restaurant falls as a whole.

This wouldn't be that bad, if Disney posted what the actual restaurant's average adult meal price was... but since they don't, it's next to useless with the ranges specified (note, 99% of the restaurants fall into the $$ or $$$ category).

only one I can attest to here is CM which looks about what we paid. Also seasonal pricing is in effect almost all summer.

VERY helpful. Just approximating $25 per adult and $15 per child (a good estimate when looking at this list) really helps. Thanks all!!!

if you want to see the princesses, Akershus have the same princesses then CRT but for only 1 credit!

All the prices given above are about right .the only one I can't remember is 1900 Park Fare. also keep in mind if you have a choice of meal, breakfast is always cheaper.

So what's the big deal about the Royal Table one? Why is it two credits? What's so special about it?

And remember that one TS credit could also get you a lunch or dinner at a character meal which are more costly (cash wise) than a breakfast.

You are dining in the castle so more money, oh and I think you still get a picture package with it.

because you are dining in THE Castle,, it garners a higher price. Cinderella will greet you in the lobby for a complimentary 5x7 photo and you also get a wand for this meal and your gratuity is included

I'm not sure where you got these prices from, but several of them are incorrect.

Here is my thread with 2011 buffet prices listed. Prices are during peak season and tax included, so for non peak season (dates are listed), you can deduct $4.00 plus tax/adult and $2.00 plus tax/child.

Hope this helps, Tiger :)
